Why did they raise the difficulty level so much in the American version? Just two jump kicks to kill the enemies. No need to fight crocodiles. The driving stage is much easier.

I guess the reason was money. People would rent game more than once.

This is Japan version. It has some differences vs. US version. It is possible to make certain enemies to despawn with by doing certain movement. It saves some time.

@@joons8854 Ah thanks. Had no clue there were 2 versions. Thought I was going crazy. The skips on Bourbon Street are interesting. In particular, when the guys up top don’t drop down. Solid run dude.

It's like the protagonist became Super Human 1, 2, & 3. Also, what if every video game was as long as Altered Beast? Imagine living in that altered timeline. With altered memories and experiences.
