You're new in the Rawstyle scene? I am a Rawstyle producer(Xtra-Raw). It sounds good, sounddesign/structure is already. Here some idea to Finish the track: The lead could be more agresssive, by a typical Rawstyle-lead-synth. Your lead synth sounds good, dont misunderstood me . :) Put more reverb on the melody (the melody doesnt empty, it give more space) . I agree about @Moritz_269 comment: put more rythm or loops like cinematic-drum-Loops , other loops make the track more Intresting. Pre-Drums and Distorted fx Kicks are ideal for breakloops between the drops/breakbeats and melody. My tip is , try anything how do you like it. Learn tutorials from other genres helped me in my Rawstyle track production and my production skills. Anyway the Concept is rlly nice, you understand the Concept of creating Rawstyle. Hope it is understandable my english and some tips are helpfull. 😀

could use more rythm elements in the drop (hihats, drum loops, etc.), some vocals in the breakdown/pre-drop aswell as some work on the kicks but the vibe and concept is really nice

Dope song bro but I would have liked to see you make this beat from scratch instead of trying to explain what you already did! It helps seeing people in action and work, rather then just explain what was already done. I think it’s easier to learn that way, when you see it being done in real time! But dope video 🙌🏻 if you ever do more videos like that in real time, I would definitely subscribe

where can i find wavetables like the custom ones you used? a beginner like me is gonna struggle to find a wavetable that works instead when we're just beginners
@magneon78713 ай бұрын
The wavetables I used in the video are mostly from various presets that I’ve saved them from over the years. I don’t really remember where they’re from though, I just used them because I had them and I liked them. But in my opinion I don’t think you should be worrying about finding wavetables that are the same (or similar) as the ones that I used in the video. You can still make really cool sounds with the stock wavetables in serum. Just experiment with what you have and find what works and what doesn’t. And some advice for you since you’re a beginner (as someone who has 10+ years experience). Don’t convince yourself that you NEED something just because someone you look up to used it.

really like all the sounds in the drop, you certainly have a unique approach here. as others have said, the kicks could use some more presence/loudness though. with rawstyle it's a bit weird because the genre has a very fluid "meta" where current trends are extremely prevalent and they tend to come and go quite fast, so therefore the sound of 2018 raw for example is very, very different from 2024 raw. what you made here is a bit more of a 2019-feeling track imo (which i don't say as a bad thing at all) but if you want to be more contemporary with it, i recommend looking into pvc and zaag kicks (on point samples has tutorials on both) as well as playing a bit more with pitching kickrolls and switchups. gearbox digital is the go-to label for this modern sound. but there is also a lot of merit in not following trends, as it will make you stand out more. i also urge you to explore the label spoontech records if you haven't already. they lean into a more old school and techno adjacent sound that you might be able to pull some inspiration from. tracks like "the smiler - i believe in pain" and "infliction - in the dark" are some of my current spoon favorites. classics include "vazard - zimmersion 2.0" and "delete - formula" no idea if these ramblings are of any use to you but anyway, we shall watch your career with great interest
