Thanks most especially to Roy Ringwald for his arranging genius blending Dr. King’s words into this amazing spiritual. The tenor part is forever imbedded into my being.

Beautiful, thank you! This hymn is featured today, July 12, in Robert Morgan's inspiring book, A Song in My Heart, "366 devotions from our best-loved hymns”. I’m blessed to have listened to this version.

I sang this in high school. I’m not a religious person, but it’s a powerful song. The Choir I was with (CMEA All State) didn’t do such advanced tempo modulations, the intense slowing is quite nice. Thanks.

This is the first hymn I remember learning in Nigeria whilst in primary school . The good Lord has been watching over me always and it’s no coincidence we all learnt this song at school all across the world. ❤ from London

I learned this hymn at summer camp. I think I was 10 years of age, and I was living in Texas. I was gloriously saved on Friday afternoon, October 22, 1971 AD.

Dr. Jed, very impressive playing here. Is this the Yamaha Grand Marimba? I am a big fan of Heitor Villa-Lobos and the classical guitar. Fun to hear it on the Marimba.
