Of all the great Bad Seeds lineups though the years, I think this is my favorite. What an incredible band. This song is a real treat to me because I especially like old footage of Conway with the band. Thanks for posting!

This is damn close to the first version of the carny I ever heard. I've been trying for 15 years to find out which release it was on, and I think it may have been the one on the I Had A Dream, Joe single from 1992. Can anyone confirm or even upload that version? It was a long time ago, but (dork alert) I believe in the version I heard, he used the phrase "rotten, sodden hay", and Blixa(?) dragged the words "deeeead weeeeight" out a lot longer. Anyone?
