Cody should've taken Kreppel. Better name and easier for people to pronounce.

Honestly I think maybe there should be a distinction between simply being attracted to someone and actually a crush on them. I think it's fine to find other people attractive or endearing, but if it's a full-blown crush, like daydream about them, getting flustered around them, etc. then maybe it's time to reevaluate your own feelings with your partner. Not saying you should jump straight to a break-up, but definitely think about why you're still seeking for something else.

Having crushes is completely normal. Whether and how you act on them is what determines whether is heathy or unhealthy. Moreover, you can develop a crush with absolutely no desire to act on it, more like a hey, that a cool human being, im attracted to them, and thats it. Nothing more, nothing less.

I had this exact dream just a few days ago! It reminded me so much of the movie "It Follows" which I've only seen once many years ago, so idk why it suddenly appeared in my dreams. It was very scary and I couldn't go back to sleep after that.

So I am a “dream meanings” girlie, but I also take it with the grain of salt that is ✨biology✨ and Dreams are our brains processing what happens during the day. So we get the “meaning” in more of a therapy sense than a psychic way, it sounds like you had a *brief moment* of feeling like you were being followed IRL that day? And if it wasn’t that, maybe it was friends unsettling you? Or an internet footprint “this person is doing everything I do” kind of way? Either way, it’s a good tool to make you not scared of bad dreams! 😅

My parents are in the healthiest relationship ive ever seen. Been married for 35 years and are still totally obsessed with each other, never argue. They talk about having crushes on other people all the time, celebrities, friends colleagues etc. they treat it for what it is which is a normal feeling that is no big deal and doesn't have to effect their relationship. They never act on it and trust each other 100%. It helps that they are very secure people

i get crushes all the time but i never pursue or think of them as anything other than an entertaining fantasy i can think about to make my life less boring. They always pass rather quickly anyway. I like feeling like a giggly school girl with butterflies in her stomach but i’m also a grown woman with the experience and maturity to match where it’s nothing more than a personal private indulgence. i also find that the people i get crushes on have some sort of ability or personality trait that I wish to have in myself and that my brain uses that attraction to sort of absorb whatever it is. I see it as a completely healthy and innocent thing, as long as you’re not delusional or weird

People have to stop assuming that their feelings or inclinations or instincts are somehow good or correct. Just because you feel something and it feels good doesn’t mean you ought to do it. “The heart is deceitful above all things”, Jeremiah 17:9.

When I was in love with my ex every guy that walked in the room or was near me, I pretended like they didn’t exist. He was the only one that ever mattered so for me I know it’s something if you’re with the right person can’t happen at least for me

Part of being in a relationship is not putting yourself in those situations. It’s fine to have a small crush but you should be aware of that and not allow yourself any time with that person alone or in any ‘getting to know’ kind of way. Don’t give in to opportunities of temptation. It’s not that temptation doesn’t exist lol it’s that you choose out of of it
