gg, the trap was really nice and I really liked that you made early valks. but (coming from a pleb) when playing as defensive as this as Thor vs Pos, wouldnt it pay off to go more towards hirdmen earlier? my impression is that you want to turtle/slowly expand and do not need much mobility anyways but im probably missing something

Recon what tips do you have for playing loki vs Ra? I normally just get trashed by the slingers axemen spear comp. Tried to add trolls and the enemy countered it with priests just fine

What a game. I don't even understand how you manage to move your army inside your base without messing with your villagers. I would love to see the oponent's point of view.

I wonder if that vortex got bugged due to the units affected having a "pull" from the implode that never resovled since they moved. For sure a bug worthy of submitting to the forums with this vid as reference.

Either Convection is the real danger, or is something fucky like, the hot air from the fire changed the airborne capabilities of the Caladrias because it became lighter, or CO poisoning, (lmao has to be a bug, but its hilarious)

almost every game I watched people tend to not use god powers that much. I do not understand. They are nothing to depend on I know but once enabled why not use and has a second chance to use it after it recharges.

Thanks for the content man. On the Serral topic, one can't know for sure if someone would "dominate" in another game, there are people who do well in all RTS and some more too. Some skills are more transferable than others, I've spent my life watching a whole bunch of people play a whole bunch of RTS games. I was one of the doubters when people were saying the Korean Broodwar guys will come over and dominate, it didn't take them long. Within a few months Rain was the best Protoss, Innovation Terran and soO Zerg. Marinelord & Lilbow were possibly the best 2v2 team I played vs in SC2, smart and good mechanics, I think they would be good. BeastyQT was decent at teamgames while also good at all factions in SC2, good at Starbow, LOL, Northguard, AOE4. Vortix & Lucifron have done well in WC3, SC2, HOTS, AOE, Stormgate. Basically, they consistently replicate the success. The guys we haven't seen play AOM & AOE can't know for sure but Clem was really good at Stormgate really fast, Reynor is already pretty high ranked in LOL and I wouldn't bet against Max Pax, Showtime or Serral either, they are elite and imo in a more competitive "rivalry" than anyone in any other RTS. AOM has different skills tested so one can't know exactly how they'd do, it is cool seeing someone play multiple different games. I'm happy to see people who can't keep up with SC2's mechanics demands doing really well in other RTS, all the guys I mentioned are a lot faster than me ;p. I'd bet on Maxpax, Lilbow, Marinelord, one of the guys from SC2 teamgames back in the day. Until someone really young comes and dominates. Have you seen Clem etc play first person POV? it's an experience.

It's not just Thor-Loki and Odin are also too strong. Norse are just broken. TA needs a nerf. Berserk needs a nerf. Then, it should be disabled so that you can only build with specific units. I would leave Hersirs able to build, and maybe some other slow units... I mean, what's the point? Every game I play against Norse, I feel like I'm getting brain cancer. They can build walls, towers, and Hill Forts wherever they want so easily. By minute 8, they already have 10 Great Halls and 10 Longhouses in front of your base. Just tell me how to destroy that! The worst thing is when they block your gold mine, and if the map is bad, you've basically lost the game. Even if you win a fight and try to push, as I said, there are already 10-15-20 buildings on the map, and it takes forever to clean them up. By that time, his economy is still untouched, and he can easily make a new army. It's just crazy. Another thing-if you find 10-15 villagers on a gold mine, he can convert them to Berserks, and you end up doing 0 damage. Meanwhile, he's on 2-3 Town Centers, and those 10-15 villagers will be back in 1-2 minutes. They also have the perfect counter system for everything. And let's not even talk about how strong the Norse economy is. No matter what you're playing, even if you have the same number of villagers, he's ahead by 5-6k in resources, plus he ages up faster and keeps pushing. It's just nonsense.

Fun game, I thought the title was just for the LOLs word play but did not actually expect it to see it happening haha, great job, will keep that in mind when playing Ra.

Recon, you don't use any control groups for units? How do you select Peltasts for the bonus 4x vs ranged etc? I'm trying to optimise my hotkeys for AOM. Do you control click, double click or shift click? to isolate say, Peltasts. What Select All X's do you use for military?. All, Screen, Idle, Hero's, Ranged, Inf, Cav, Myth. I am leaning towards Having 1 control group for all the meele units in my main army (so they don't overwrite queued focus fire commands for Pelt, Tox, Petrobolos and they aren't slowed by Petro/Helpolis). Then 2 control groups for Hippeaus/Harass and looking to do the rest with Select ALL's like Heros and Ranged and double clicking for Pelt, Prodromas, Chimera's etc. To make space I'm trying out find all TC's on F1, find all production on F2, find all Armoires on F3. Then Ctrl+QWERTY row finds all Granaries, Storehouses, TC, Markets, Docks for economic upgrades. Ctrl+ASDF row finds all Military buildings for upgrades (With temple moved to F) I moved Fortresses to Z and Turrets to X to make getting Fortress and Turret upgrades easier Ctrl+X to see all turret upgrades for example. I checked through a bunch of streams and most people use 0,1 or 2 control groups for units. Most have TC and Temple control grouped (TC usually on 5 like you). AOM has some new hotkey/selection options that weren't in other RTS's and I don't see people talk about them much, or their optimisation. But in SC2 community we had Jakattack, SC2 Pyramid etc etc lol.

I did a lot of tests with Huntress Axe and only now after you mentioned it that Huntress Axe is actually better i could do another test and it seems to be true what you say. How did you figured the difference out of Ballistics and Huntress Axe because it is really hard to see actually?
