Of course she knew! Gabriel told her, and The Holy Spirit came upon her. I know it's rhetorical, and I love love love Jubilant Sykes. But I have NEVER liked this song. Total lack of creative theological insight, and over and over "Mary did you know, Mary did you know, Mary did you know..." Yes! She knew!

Mary didn’t know many things. But I wonder how she felt knowing that JESUS Is Emmanuel, her baby!!! Jubilant honors the message, that is, Jesus the Lord. Amen

Jubilant Sykes is a dear Christian man. And have a hand full of outstanding recordings!! He is also in a motion picture!

Since hearing Jubilant Sykes' recording of this track on his "Jubilant" CD, I've thought his rendition simply blows away all of the "popular" versions, such as Pentatronix. For years I've thought it a shame fhat Jubilant has not received recognition commensurate with his talent. And this video just seals the deal. This is spectacular, moving, spell-binding, chilling. And as of this writing this video has 8,256 views, and Pentatronix has almost 270 million views. But maybe the payoff is down the road. Maybe someday someone will look and say "Jubilant Did You Know" that your video gave hope and inspiration to many who needed it?

I ‘absolutely’ agree with you! The second best, is the man who wrote the song …. Mark Lowery. I hope I spelled his last name correctly. I too have Jubilant’s CD, it is AMAZING.
