Hi there! As long as all the bisque is covered you don't have to dip, but we always recommend it for best results :)

No disrespect, but as a professional studio potter of 32 years and a Paint Your Own Pottery owner, I could share so many improved techniques for dipping and pouring. I prefer to do my second dip while the first dip is still wet, to prevent double layer lines, which often cause customer complaints. I have custom made dipping sticks for tiny toppers, ornaments and party animals that have small holes. On larger, more complex items, you can pour the bottom half of larger items and immediately dip the top for a perfect result. I use 2 squishy earplugs to plug bank slots or small holes. There's a ton of tips and tricks I could share. I might have to make a channel just for that

What I mean by marketing materials is, non-Gare branded photos of your best sellers. I'm not trying to create competitors in my market, I'm trying to increase sales in-store. I don't want to share my suppliers name with anyone who might be one a competitor. I've had 3 other competitors enter the market by stealing my suppliers in the past (in a different industry) and I am careful not to share my suppliers now.

As a Paint Your Own Pottery owner, I would like to have access to more of your marketing materials to share on social media. It would help me sell more of your products.

Although this video is for underglazes, you can dry brush with acrylics and it will look fantastic!! It will most likely dry before you could wipe it back. You just coat with the first color and when it dries, put a few coats of your other colors over that one with the dry brushing technique. :)

When you say "paint" do you really mean underglaze? I'm asking because if it were acrylic paint, I don't think you would be able to wipe of off after it dried.

So there’s a couple questions number one this is underglaze right? Number two it looks like you only do one coat of the underglaze is that correct? And then do you dip the whole thing and clear?

Have you done an elephant, dry brush? Would I do it like you are doing this little guy? I’m so Afraid of messing it up, a friend wants me to do it and I m just so afraid to. Got any ideas to help me out? It’s got fancy blanket on its back, like from India parade. I did the blanket in turquoise, trimmed in gold. He had started painting the elephant in gray, but it has all these wrinkles, and I think it should be dry brushed. I’ve had it awhile at my house, our Sr Center ,had closed because of Covid, that’s been a long time ago, I got ill, and just didn’t feel like painting, now I want to get it done, but I need advice. I didn’t have Covid, and the Center has been open for awhile now. But no one is doing ceramics. 😅 any advice would appreciated. I’ve been looking on you tube, this is the closes I’ve gotten to the Elephant with color, I think it would be pretty. Thanks for sharing♥️♥️👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 In gold

You can start with 2 to 3 coats of Polar Bear and yes, when finished you clear glaze and fire :)
