I was that stupid fella for many years, and now that my body is destroyed, I'm looking for the proper way to do it, sadly enough! Wished like hell that I'd never done anything so stupid, and the sad thing is, my dad told me not to do it, live and learn sadly enough! Do you think Ronnie Coleman regrets any of his lifting insanity in his younger years these days, (he can't hardly walk these days). Most people, especially those who don’t have degenerative spine issues, talk a good game because they don’t have a clue as to how painful it is when your nerves are impinged (not to mention other potential devastating life altering effects) . I injured myself lifting weights at 21 and thus understand full well. Now I need to have a fusion (ALIF/PLIF). I tell all who listen “don’t put pressure on your spine, ever!” I see women on IG, squatting double their body weight so their posteriors look more plucky! I saw a guy (on KZbin) lose his life when he lost balance while squatting and the weight rolled forward on his neck! Horrible!
