The mistake they made (which I still don't understand) was to hire Anette in the first place. It is completely clear that Anette was not up to the job. And as Anette herself described it later in interviews: and important part of the problem was that she was over-stressed and fearfull of performing because of the fans (!) not liking her. I think the boys in the band where VERY supportive of her, given the number of terrible live performances, and the fact the nevertheless they still stood by her after all that time. That notwithstanding, the situation had become untennable and something had to be done to save the situation. And in such situations there are no "nice" solutions.

I must say that you have a very sad and pessimistic outlook on the world, where courageous people who have the guts to step up and take a chance to help others are instead seen as conniving, scheming, manipulative, and immoral. I really would not want to live in your painfull little universe. And have you ever thought of the fact that maybe Anette herself was a big part of the problem, leaving the band in an untennable position?

The things I say above are reality, not pessimistic. Yes, Anette was slowly getting exhausted beause of the touring life and that particular tour was extremely hard. Then she got very sick that day and went to hospital. Normally a group cancels the show that day and visits the band member at the hospital. Tuomas was very worried about cancelling the show and in general he was not very happy with Anette lately. So he made the decision. The thing about Elize is, she was a candidate after Tarja but not chosen. To cut it short, there were singers that could replace Anette at any given minute and they used the favorable situation quite well. No, they fired her because her behavior was untenable, she got pregnant mid-tour, and she left them in an untennable position (which was the drop that made the bucket overflow, as we say in Dutch). Her firing was inevitable. And the moment was determined by Anette herself. The only thing disgusting here is the way you are talking about them.

Lead vocalist for only the first part, and this "lead" vocalist was the cause of the problems to begin with, and did not want to cooperate with the documentary...

I mean, Marko has done multiple duets with Tarja recently so....

I don't think the bassist is gonna be jealous of a lead singer but I agree the guy is an asshole probably because he's depressed

@@jean-mi1825 While I wouldn't say that Anette wasn't accepted it is definetly true that a lot of the original fans where not happy about Tarja leaving and Annette as replacement for her - especially because Annettes singing style is so different from Tarja's. That said - I'm pretty sure that they would have been unhappy with everyone at that point - even if Floor had the replacement for Tarja without Annette in between.
