Love the video... I was 9 when you filmed this. My parents and I used to drive from Indiana to Oil City to visit my grandparents during the summer and at Thanksgiving. We always got in around midnight or 1am, so it was hard to tell how close we were until I saw the Electralloy plant and heard the vibration from the steel bridge! Was pretty bummed when they tore it down. Thanks for sharing a slice of life.

Cool! Glad you enjoyed it! I met my wife, who's from Apollo-Spring Church at IUP that same year e.g. 1990. I guess you could say I lived in Indiana, PA for 4 years while attending IUP.

How many were in the band back then

Not sure exactly. In 87-88 the colorgaurd/Band Front and dance line was huge but the band (instrumentalist) was probably near the smallest it had ever been up to that time.

Can’t believe that bridge is already 32 years old. Remember that old bridge sound.

How did you get up on that mountain, or wherever you were standing

That is "Clark's Summit" and more specifically "Lover's Leap" on Clark's Summit. Dwyer St. on Halyday Run road. There is a residential area at the top of the hill, however, you need to ask permission to get to that exact location since it is private property. The property is owned by the Schreffler family whose house is adjacent. Currently, there is also a cellular tower right in that area too (that wouldn't have been there back in the early 90s).

I missed the State Street Bridge when I visited Oil City in the fall of 1990. I hated walking across the bridge at night, especially after going to a movie at the old Drake Theater. Thank you for sharing the video.
