The Cathedral is beautiful. I went there in 2005. I do find it hard to believe their remains are there. The Bible only says they're from the East, without stating exact locations. Or even their names. So how did Constitine's mother supposedly find their remains? Very hard to believe and will never be proven to be factual.

My father used to row the whole family out there in the 50's, we spent loads of time in the water even though it was freezing. I can still smell the sweet aroma of the campfires and the tea. Both my parents ashes are there too.

I think it did pretty good, considering that it has no collision avoidance built in and you're in a forest.

I know someone who has exactly the same van, same age and colour, he was getting 40 miles from a full charge, it went into the VW dealer and they did some sort of software update, which he says improved it a bit, but still rubbish. They are cheap for a reason and come April 25 the RFL will be the same as all LCVs , so even less companies will want to buy one. It’s fortunate you bought these vans at a cheap price, but even at £13000 the dealer had a profit margin, so a realistic trade value is now probably £10k if you can find a dealer willing to buy it. EDIT, I just checked autotrader and there are various 21 plate E Transporters with low miles for just over £10k retail, so trade is probably more like £7k

Stick a diesel generator in the back… Seriously, 82 miles is beyond a joke! Might be ok for a work van doing local deliveries, but we would want to turn it into a campervan which would be unworkable imo. Our last big trip was to Ireland via Cairnryan which was 204 miles which would entail at least 2 stops. But once in Ireland we couldn’t have driven ‘The Wild Atlantic Way’ because there were simply no chargers. If something seems too good to be true, it is probably for a reason.

conventional lithium-ion batteries that are found in everything from consumer electronics to electric vehicles last less than 1,000 cycles and have an energy density between 200-300 Wh/kg.

I am planning to go Mount Stuart this summer, really looking forward to it. Your video was very informative. I enjoyed watching, looks as though the Scottish weather was doing its thing, but glad you persevered 😊 Thanks for posting. 🏰

Thank you very much, this video saves me having to consult a lawyer. I am quite sure that the British Newspaper Archive would lose in court because this rip-off is illegal. But this way I could (hopefully) end my involuntary subscription.

Where I live the grass is nearly always wet and often long and uncut for weeks but my newly acquired R112C cuts this very well. One needs to be careful on sloping and wet grass as the differential slips easily the machine is very prone to oversteer but overall I am glad I bought this machine as it supplements my lawn tractors very well.

If you buy one month subscription, can you switch off auto-renew at the beginning of that subscription so they’ll stop billing you after you’ve paid for one month?

Ironically with that castle having electricity Rhum is going for International Dark Skies Community status and if it gets it,and I don't see why it shouldn't, it'll be joining Coll and North Ronaldsay as Scottish Dark Skies Islands.

I think you'll find that opposite Scalpsie bay is not the Hebrides, the Hebrides and Skye are about 280 miles north West of Scalpsie, accross from Scalpsie is the beutiful isle of Arran and the argyll peninsula, and North of that is Mull. Nowhere near the Hebrides my friend!

Went there yesterday and totally blown away by the architecture and sheer opulence of the building. Even the details have detailing! I've visited a few country houses but this is the most magnificent I've ever seen. Also love the history of the place. And the grounds are amazing especially love the walk down to the beach (did you take that walk?) and the awesome views from there onto the Kyles of Bute. Feels like a different world. And thats from someone who lives only a 45 minute drive from Wemyss Bay! Only realised this beauty was pretty much on my doorstep 2 years ago. Can't wait to go back. BTW, on a sunny day its truly spectualar 🎉

Great video. Indeed, Tong is very historic. Maria Anne Fitzherbert (née Smythe, previously Weld; 26 July 1756 - 27 March 1837) was born in the village of Tong at Tong Castle. Maria was the lady Diana of her day. A beautiful socialite and celebrity. She was a longtime companion of George, Prince of Wales (later King George IV of the United Kingdom). In 1785, they secretly contracted a marriage that was invalid under English civil law because his father, King George III, had not consented to it. Fitzherbert was a Catholic and the law at the time forbade Catholics or spouses of Catholics from becoming monarch, so had the marriage been approved and valid, the Prince of Wales would have lost his place in the line of succession.

So they paid £1,250,000 for it, promising to save the Hall but instead they let it fall into ruin demanding they be allowed to build a load of new build houses instead. Now that the council has spent 20 years rejecting every scheme to build new homes on the site while demanding the Hall gets restored, they want £7,000,000 for it?
