Yet again ,another captain trying to impress passengers and people on shore ,whilst at the same time not acting with care and diligence. He's lucky no one was drowned.

Looks like the vessel must have had engine failure I can't see how that vessel wouldn't have been able to reverse away from the rocks otherwise... Still they put themselves in a difficult situation with not enough sea room to drop anchor (or just didn't drop it quickly enough)

Never said that the engine failed, what was wrong with reverse thrust, was it only powered by two mice? Put it in reverse when lined up, as it was many times, then stand on the throttle

Hope the lady with facial injuries is okay, either way for someone who works in such an industry it's likely to be life changing.... The Fijian navy really need to have some remedial ship handling and decision making training. Nord is doing it deliberately to keep you guessing, I wonder if they had their AIS on during passage but it was only picked up by marine traffic when it came close to the Maldives...

Good Thing in this Action: in a few seccond they made the decision to evacuate the passengers! First Action they made sure no one is inside. Second action to evacuate althoug it caused more damage. It was a bad mistske to be there, but after it happend they handled well! This Type of Boat has a very small period of time to make the right decisions. Quick sinking and no chance to escape from inside, if the water comes in. But this Boat is also no boat to maneuver near cliffs. Even in best water conditions there is no reason to be there with such an type of boat. No reason. Never! Good captains would never do something like this. The fact that there are so many passengers on board leaves me speechless.

LOL check the sun burn on the lady in the green under ware I think @ 1:42. It was not the wind, it was the Captain placing the passagers, crew and boat in a dangerous situation.

Good afternoon just wanted to say that I love your videos and I love your content. It’s very very educational. I guess you can say I loved it now. I do have a question for you. I do believe in the late 80s in the early 90s there was a private yacht called Ecoand the gentleman was a Spanish guide that took today soap operas and turned it into Spanish soap operas. My question is whatever happened to the private yacht didn’t get a new name but it have a brand new paint job.

Maybe the yacht has too much money inside that why it's heavy. That's why it's hitting the rocks. Get rid of your money on board and mike make things a bit lighter.🤣👍

For every tool on land there is an equal for the water, this is how salvage, underwater demo and building takes place. There are underwater welders so getting a door open under water is child's play for the pros.

Ppl are so blind...sanctions sanctions sanctions. The amount of sanctions that should be slapped on the US is a shame. The US has commited so maany crimes that has been overlooked its insane. The only nation that has literally dropped an atomic bomb on a nation...no sanctions. The UN told the US not to invade Iraq & their assertions that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction..end result? The US ignored the UN, invaded Iraq, 500,000 +ppl killed & NO weapons of mass destructions found...no sanctions on them. God bless the day they fall....the rest of the world has to unite and ensure they NEVER rise again.
