They are all scam artist. We shouldn't get cavities. They are in cahoots with the sugar companies in the soda pop companies to create cavities.

about the last one I tried a brand similar to that and it didn't work :( My teeth are old like me and my one front tooth has bonding on it in the back part. I had to have the back bonded because it has a hairline crack:( I hate my teeth.

So do I brush my teeth before using the strips or not? I have Crest 3D whitening and it expressly states on the back to make sure that you do NOT brush before applying the strips for 30 minutes. Similar but different products, could you please look into this, clearly the Crest 3D is giving different instructions, saying DON'T brush before use. Additionally I can't find a reference as to whether I'm supposed to brush after or leave it on (which I would assume so it can do it's work) still just wondering. Please clarify. Many Thanks.

Hi I heard that using hydrogen peroxide as a mouth wash is good for whitening your teeth. is it safe? I heard it has to be 3% hydrogen peroxide and diluted 50% water and 50% hydrogen peroxide. I want to try it but I’m a bit scared and I don’t want to ruin my enamel and gain a lot of sensitivity.

It's safe, but it might make your teeth a bit more sensitive, as the peroxide might dry them out. So it's best to go slowly!

Hi Chesco. As of right now, you can only buy it through a dental office. Similar to how some skincare lines are only sold through dermatologists. That being said, Crest now makes a light activated bleaching system you can buy at Costco or Shoppers!

Hi there, 3% hydrogen peroxide should be safe to use. Keep in mind to keep it on your teeth and avoid using it on your gums if possible. If you start to feel a burning sensation or notice any gum irritation, stop and consult your dentist. Hope that helps!

Hi Sara, baking soda is basic in pH so it won't harm your enamel. As long as you're using it a few times a month rather than every day and not scrubbing very hard, it should be safe! Be especially careful of scrubbing along the gums, as gums are very delicate tissues and can recede. Good luck!

Unfortunately in Canada at least, it can only be bought through a dentist. Mention it to your dentist next time and see if they can order it for you! If all else fails, you can try the over the counter Crest version with light.
