Hammerheads are fascinating. It's nice to see some footage of them lately and it isn't the kind where people are bugging them. Sidenote: When I was a kid I hadn't associated them with the occasional attack on humans for some reason. Sharks are curious creatures, it's their home, they just do what any wild animal does. :) As much as I love sharks I'm scared of them too, there's no way I'd be in the water with them

What a true marvel of nature. Looks alien. And many of the USS Indianapolis deaths were attributed to hammerheads. Mostly tiger sharks I’ve heard, but hammerheads too.

Sharks will out live us even though we hunt them to near extinction they will adapt and have the measure of humanities tactics in hunting them out of existence p.s sharks don't get cancer so we could be losing a potential cure if we do snuff them out?

That's a lie. Only four species of shark can seriously injury a human, the Hammerhead, Tiger, Bull and White Shark, out of all four species, only 2 hunt us for food in rare instances, the Bull shark and the Tiger shark, Hammerheads are just territorial toward us, but they do not see humans as potential meals, and all Great White attacks were complete accidents, since they can easily mistake a surfist with a turtle or a seal. So, that's it, stop ruining even more the already bad reputation sharks have, and quit your bs.

Completely false, stop spreading bullshit. There are over 500 species, and most are completely harmless. Hell, most are smaller or the same size as humans. The smallest species can fit in your hand. Those that can be dangerous, aren't out to get you either, attacks happen because they're curious and check out unfamiliar objects with their mouths. Trust me, if they saw us as food, there would be a lot more than 5 to 10 fatal attacks per year. Just think of the millions of people in the water right now, the billions that swim through the whole year, and the tiny number of attacks, which never exceeds the third digit. It's sad and pathetic to see how little you know about these fascinating and beautiful animals.

It does feel like this is the stage for life, that this is the show ground, honestly when you look at how alien almost everything is, it's diversity in almost every creature and plant. Alien world. I get the feeling it all manifests here, from octopus and slugs, sharks and fish, to reptiles and insects, all the mammals and birds, place is mad, even just what exists today, let alone what has played out in the fossil record and the history of the earth. Mad, mad place. To look at spiders, humans, whales, cats and dogs, snails and birds, crocs and dolphins, just everything, when you really look, it's almost like this is the only home, and it's home to all alien life you could imagine. All in this one place that we share and call home. Amazing place. I believe man's destiny, is to find our technological balance with nature. It's the only way, there is no reason to leave this place. Life has always prevailed here, and it always will. This is a gem, a miracle. To find ourselves here, living amongst time and space, in this world, amongst this life. The most alien experience we could have. The heart of the universe I feel, is this very place. We must find our peace and balance, we must.

So stealth. Amazing creature. Even in the clearest of waters they seem to appear from nowhere and be on you within a second. I'd definitely release my ink defense system 😂. Amazing animal. Nature really is God's work, utter masterpiece.
