@@motoheads1268 The shifter linkage/ cables run underneath the shift lever and goes towards the transmission. They stretch and/ or wear out over time. Difficulty getting in or finding gears is one symptom.

Yes you are right man. Eon ground clearance is lower than alto 800 in real life. You just have to be extra careful on bad roads. But even if the car touches the ground at slow speeds ive never had any issues but cant say the same at higher speeds and rough driving.

12 in city, 17 on highway, with AC on (tested till 5 years). I was a Hyundai sportz owner for 5 years. Mileage was very very bad, hit the speed brakers almost every time, but engine was good with fast pickup. Now I own Swift 2022 model, 1200cc engine but still getting 16 in city and 21 on highway (have been testing for 3 months), with AC on. I have not changed my driving style, I accelerate and decelerate fast.

@@reticence5048 True but swifts sheet metal quality is too poor. Apart from built quality Swift is a good car.

Accidents are unprecedented, but considering excessive petroleum prices nowadays, and adding to long driving experiences, a careful driver can opt for Suzuki cars available in India for better mileage. And to mention, Hyundai Eon sportz scored Zero stars in global NCAP but new generation Swift scored 2 stars. Sheet metal quality should be better in Swift like in Eon but body frame of Hyundai cars nowadays are not better than Maruti Suzuki. Hyundai cars also scoring very poor in global NCAP test. I think Hyundai is silently following the same path of Maruti Suzuki on terms of ever craving better mileage for which we are obsessed of compromising the safety of drivers and passengers.
