And that's where the serious cost is. most of these brokers will charge a 68% markup on the actual price of the vehicle. Makes you really wonder if it is worth importing a vehicle.

6 - 10 for regular vehicles.. but what if a returning resident has an old classic or antique vehicle or a 2003 hummer h2? These are my personal vehicles I had for years. There is a way to do it but I can't get a hold of anyone who knows ???

@@pointa3687 I'm trying all angles just thought you guys would have information on this category,, but yes it can be done... before COVID I read online about antique, classic and Vintage cars being shipped to Jamaica. These are not regular cars these are antique, classic and Vintage. It can be done, you have to belong to an antique and classic car club in Jamaica and abroad. I did try to contact the Jamaican antique, classic and Vintage car club in Kingston, but of course, typical Jamaicans, don't get back to you. I've got eight of them and enjoy driving them to events. If I can't ship them to Jamaica I don't move to Jamaica. That's how much I love my cars.

😂😂 Jamaica customs take 60 to 80% of the vehicle value depending on how big the engine of the car is bigger engine is 80% up so if the car cost 20k & has a engine size over 2500cc then you’ll have to 80% of that 20k to Jamaica custom’s

(CC ratings/ Fuel/ Capacity/ Type) all those are factors that help to determine prices as stated in video, Brokerage/Permit/ Documentation as well as other small charges help to determine price. I must say with the recent implementation of JSWIFT and online feature with Val branch C19 haven't been that noticeable other than the lock down. However there been a back log with shipping line recently
