He's very VERY good at presenting his story but there are so many complete falsehoods in what he says that honestly what's even the point of listening. I'm not talking from some sort of anti-social justice position - his talk is littered with little factoids (in the original sense of falsehood presented as fact, not the modern sense of small or trivial fact).

He makes it sound Israel wanted to attack Egypt in 1967, and were just waiting for an excuse. Naser was speaking day and night of eliminating Israel. And he had a huge army that seamed perfectly capable to do that. The Israrli PM Eshkol was very wary of starting a war, and reluctantly aproved the attack in June 1967 after Naser declared he would close the straits of Tiran (which is a deceleration of war under international law)
@yonimaor10056 күн бұрын
43:30 Really!? Israel raided settlements in the west bank to take Naser down? This guy forgets to tell you these raids are called "Retribution acts" for a reason. Palestinians were infiltrating Israel and killing civilians.

I would not kill anyone who is not directly trying to kill me or my family. The Palestinian situation is terrible (though not as bad as other suppressed people) but their leaders had many opportunities to settle this, accept the existence of Israel and start building their country. But time and again they chose the sword.

@yonimaor10054 күн бұрын
@@closetglobe.IRGUN.NW0 You mean occupation or colonization? As for occupation, I would not accept it. This is why I do not accept the Arab occupation of the ancient land of Judea. As for colonization, are you referring to the west bank or Israel as a whole? Anyway, a colony should have a mother country which is gaining from said colony, which country is that in this case?
@closetglobe.IRGUN.NW04 күн бұрын
@@yonimaor1005 don't be dense. Immigrants carving out their own state makes them colonizers. It's not just me saying it. "Every native population in the world resists colonists as long as it has the slightest hope of being able to rid itself of the danger of being colonised. That is what the Arabs in Palestine are doing, and what they will persist in doing as long as there remains a solitary spark of hope that they will be able to prevent the transformation of "Palestine" into the "Land of Israel." - zeev jabotinsky 1923 At least be an honest zionist like him

Whenever you hear percentages know that someone is likely pushing an agenda to you. Always ask yourself what is the whole. ... Palestine originally included the land east of the Jordan river, which became the kingdom of Jordan. Also, the Negev desert was mostly uninhabited... For a reason. Putting the Negev aside the jews got much less than the arabs, percentage-wise.

I love Dr. Casagranda. But everyone needs to learn #MMT and/or read Stephanie Kelton's #THEDEFICITMYTH. Deficits don't matter; they're used to force austerity measures. What matters is supply and demand and making sure that the economy continues to roll. States can go bankrupt, but the Federal Government cannot.

He is an amazing teacher. He does not appear to be using any notes, this is all off the top of his head. He knows his material. I've studied this region myself and of everything he has said I've heard no mistakes and certainly much I never knew. Amazing how much I lived through that the media told us almost nothing about while it was going on or thereafter.

Lest anyone get it twisted, although these were not the exact words Malcolm spoke back in the 60s. However, Brother Malcolm spoke in defense of Palestinian rights after his visit to the Middle East. Words were even more churning than this modern AI generated version. It resonates as though he knew this genocide will continue to occur.

As a Syrian, it's truly remarkable for me to encounter someone who can convey such intricate details with impartiality. This lecture stands out as one of the most exceptional I've ever attended. P.S: "ISIL" was fewer in numbers but remarkably effective during the short period from 2013 to 2015. At one point as a Syrian we thought, they were funded by the USA "most likely", which is puzzling considering they had the newest equipment compared to other groups, despite the widespread shortage of equipment and ammunition among most factions. In Aleppo, they primarily engaged in conflicts with other groups rather than directly confronting the government, unlike in the eastern part of Syria. I believe I can be considered an eyewitness for Aleppo because I've lived there for most of my life and currently pursue my PhD as a student in Europe.

That's not Malcolm X speaking, Malcolm NEVER used the words African American. Blacks were first called African Americans in the 1980's. Malcolm always used the term AFRO American. He named his organization the Organization of Afro American Unity, The OAAU. That's a fake speech of Malcolm X, somebody probably created that fake speech with A.I.
