I was watching the Huell Howard Live Stream on KZbin and saw Huell ride shotgun with him in the 90s so I googled him to see what he’s up to now. Thanks for the insight!

When we say this kinda stuff like “where do I sign” it gives off the impression that this is an easily trickable career choice. But rather recruitment is a long process that actually takes some dedication. Obviously no hate and I 100% get what he’s saying, but this is a stereotype that turns people away right off the bat.

I was a philly cop for ten years. It started off great but, the hours were horrible. Working so many hours than going to court. But the worse of it, when I saw cops making honest mistakes and IAD trying so0 hard to fire us. The PPD got so political, people who knew politicians got everything good commendations, and they were bums. The supervisors got promoted based on color and sex, and it was downhill from there. Then they started messing with many of the old timers, they took our experienced officers and put them in places to make them quit. They wanted a new woke weak department. I knew we lost; I was not going to put myself in a position were they could just get rid of me, I was the one to do the job to matter what. Believed in the constitution as if it where the word of God. The took care of the bums and punished the good cops. If you had political connections, you could be the dirties cop ever and your protected. Not going to work for that. I despise corruption.

So from your story your department started holding people accountable and started to punish cops for violating people's rights and you decided to quit because you could no longer abuse people and get away with it

Recon boys were pre Madonna’s anyway. All training no implementation. “Swift silent deadly” i had to remind some of those pretty boys that their job tittle is literally that of a snitch. Once yous go do your job you come back and infantry goes in. If they even did those things. I think second went on just a handful of raids between 11-12. Lots of tannin time.
@StokedToker23 күн бұрын
During WWII the marines went out of their way to recruit color blind recruits because they could differentiate between the camouflaged positions of the Japanese as opposed to untouched terrain.
