Thank you so much for sharing this show. This was one of my favorites tv shows on hgtv. I wish there were more reruns of this show. I hope things are still going well. To be so young at the time you both recognize what the good life really is. 🙂

RICHARD DAWSON WAS BY FAR THE WORST GAME SHOW HOST EVER!!! HE ALWAYS THOUGHT THAT HE WAS SO CUTE!!! I FOUND ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT HIM TO BE CUTE OR ENTERTAINING IN THE LEAST!!! HE BASICALLY RUINED THE SHOW!!!

in 1981 they used to advertise world wide websites on the TV?? that's insane, in 1981 we barely had TVs and Radios where I live, let alone computers and internet lmao.

I like the episodes where Richard hosts the best. I think Family Feud was made just right for him.

Richard/FF truly invited 'Merica into our living rooms, including southern country bumpkins who turn every vowel into multiple syllables ("rest" = "rayast"). But he doesn't stop making fun of them, which is.... funny ;-)

Endre, I also wish to thank you for posting and allowing others to see this wonderful collage of your father's life. I visited quite regularly when you lived in Mequon, then Darlington, WI. Later, I stayed with your family a few months when you lived in Sun Prairie, and later still -- I visited everyone when your father moved your family to Minneapolis. The last time I saw your father was at his father's funeral. Your parents were kind enough to make me Nicholas' Godmother, although my services in that area were not necessary. You were all very young when I last saw you, John, Chris, Nicholas and Anthony. I have never forgotten any of you. And I do remember that your father had a wonderful sense of humor. Connie Cain

Endre, Just today I decided to search on your dad's name and was saddened read that he is no longer with us. I met you dad way back when--when he was dating your mom. Your mom and I lived together in a townhouse in St. Paul, 2035 Montreal Ave. Me and Bezad Nikomanish (sp?) went to Brookings, SD with your parents to "stand up" for them when they got married there. So sorry for your loss. Sincerely, Dixie Cain St. Louis Park, MN
