What a head coach Keyshawn Johnson had to deal with as a rookie, huh? I don't know what the Jets saw in Kotite. He wasn't any good with the Eagles after their playoff appearance under him!

For the Jets fans out there, what the hell did the Jets' suits see in Kotite? He was one of the worst NFL head coaches of my childhood.

For those that think Riley was a better coach in New York than Van Gundy, you are all whack. How many times did Van Gundy take it to the Heat. Everytime except for the ejection year. 4 out of 5 times.

Jesus Christ how many second half leads did the Jets blow under Rich Kotite? It seemed like every game they had the league in the second half and blew it

The Knicks would regret the decision. Dave checkett was an outstanding basketball president... But he should have trusted Pat Riley's basketball mind. And gave him control of the roster.

Regret beating the Heat 4 of 5 times in the playoffs and a trip to the finals. Eventually Riley got the chip, but he's a bitch.

FUCK Pat Riley, he could have at least finished the 1 year remaining on his contract before he choose to part ways on his own. FUCK Pat Riley, in 1994 he benched 4x All Star Rolando Blackman and the NY Knicks lost the NBA Championship. FUCK Pat Riley. Please give me thumbs up for this.

Prophetic words by Peter Vecsey- Jordan nearly did come to the Knicks. And he was right to doubt Reinsdorf’s statement about Mike not being that vindictive. Anyone who knows MJ well and isn’t in denial knows his competitive obsession can lead him to be extremely vindictive. In the Game 4 when he and the Bulls swept Orlando this 1996 season- a revenge series for the Magic’s 95 6-game victory- MJ held his scoring to 45 points by missing two late-game free throws. This was to get back at Nick Anderson who a year earlier said, “45 doesn’t play like 23.”

The day Bill signed with the Jets was one of the most depressing days of my life. A Psts seaon ticket holder since 1977. January 21, 1993 was a glorious day. Bill was introduced as the head coach of the Patriots. To this day, and forever, Parcells is the greatest head coach ever.
