So I use REAPER and ST3. I have the VTSi SampleTank3 one my first track. It RECEIVES from 8 individual ST3 MIDI tracks and SENDS to 8 Audio tracks. I have instruments loaded in each of the 8 channels and Patterns too. It all works well and sounds great. My issue is when I are the MIDI and AUDIO track, nothing is recording in my DAW.

Doesnt work with Audacity. Audacity opens the sample, but when trying to save the WAV, it says "cannot save ...file", because it is in use by Ableton, LOL. Weiiiird.

Made the mistake of thinking this is like a drum machine - its not. It does not generate beats....

It generates drum sounds, but there's no sequencer (as far as I know). The tag line Softube use is 'Drum synthesis is back with a vengeance', which seems pretty accurate.

My maschine I got from a seller says it’s registered to them still. I been contacting the seller but they don’t reply back to me. What do I do? I already contacted native instruments but haven’t heard anything yet. I wanna use the maschine mk3 but it doesn’t work. Please help. Also the mk3 I got it used. And it didn’t come with the maschine software program.

hi janet, i hope im not too late. i own a maschine studio that im about to sell. and apparently i can only transfer the (maschine studio HW) liscence Which is the Hardware serial number. but, "Komplete selection" that came along my maschine isn't transfarable. which is odd! The main D.A.W/Software "maschine2" is within "Komplete selection". I also own an MK3 and it's the same case. i hate to say it, but if your seller never replys back you might have to choose the "p i rate way"

wait so if there is only one engine for both open and closed hi-hats, can i give both sounds a different chain in the ableton drum rack, and them group them together in the chain view so they alternate?

Maschine 2.0 has the 1x importer missing, myself and others are stuck between 1.8 and 2.0.. native instrument has not been helpful at all assisting with this issue. can you assist me and all the other Maschine heads who is experiencing the same issue.. is there any other way for me to use my 1.8 projects in 2.0?????

yeah they scrapped it a couple versions ago like 2.6 or something. I have the same problem :( Why they would remove a feature is beyond me

Brandon Rose U have to downgrade your version of Maschine to the last time it had the ‘import from 1.8’ feature then import all of your stuff.. and once that’s complete you upgrade your software back to the current version. Something of a hassle but it’s better than losing all of your work.. lol

They literally nixxed a lot of older expansions by removing that option. What a way to screw your customers.
