I do something similar but use Sweet Feed for cattle instead of the bread crumbs and I also add oats.

I feel u man, me and my dad had I’d say a 25” pali while lake fishing, he went after 1 of our 3 rods.. the smallest one with 4lb line, he was on for about 20 seconds then jumped out of the water 2 feet in the air and snapped off..🥲. It happens to often with them goldens

Give creamed corn a try as well. I use that instead of the liquid that comes in the corn and it seems to intensify the corniness and make it stick to the method lead a little more like paste. Then I just strain the canned corn and just add the kernels.

The thing with catching any trout is you have to baby them way more, they will tear open there entire front lip to remove hooks from themselves, especially with those headshakes you were getting here

You got that from catfish and carp cause he made it up or the person that you copied off of catfish and carp so You are a good fisher man but I just said that it's a good fish but I can't be talking I use the same thing

Shesssh bro u were stressing me out taking so long to bring that slob in .. I’m a wader guy wen it comes to trout so I would of scooped him up in about 40 seconds … I mean I would of lost him if I had him on the line so long so I must not be doing something right?
@vladoutdoors11916 ай бұрын
I have waders I just don't always feel like wearing them depending if I'm going to be doing a lot of walking. I agree though would have been super nice having them on! When you're fighting a big fish like that on 4# line everything has to be perfect. Knots, no abrasion on line, loose drag, solid hooks, etc. Any one of those fails and you'll lose it. I was stressed out too haha the longer you're fighting em the more of a chance once of those things fails!
@micyczar2156 ай бұрын
@@vladoutdoors1191 yea no doubt bro way to land that shit 💯💯💯

He broke you off because I never heard your drag working at all, big planted fish like that very rarely go for fast water.

@ericschell1116 ай бұрын
So you’re casting in and jiggling it every so often?
@vladoutdoors11916 ай бұрын
@@ericschell111 I'm using a Fenwick eagle ultralight rod with 4# test. Im kind of constantly jiggling the rod up and down and it's so bendy it kind of gets in a rhythm. Reeling really slowly sometimes not at all depending on how much the current is moving
