As a Corona tool buyer I fill the back of the shovels with epoxy to keep that area dry.

Absolutely awful product. How do you actually fuck something up thats been made for years. Trying to innovate isn't always the best when you can't even use it.

A lot of diseased trees end up being taken down and turned into these kind wood chips. My landlady insisted on spreading loads of these free wood chips everywhere, and two years later all the ash trees are dead and every oak on the property has oak wilt. The small cherry trees all died, too. I hope the pines didn't catch root rot, but if they did I won't be able to tell until it starts to kill them. Commercial landscaping woodchips are heated to kill any tree pathogens. Most of the free, untreated woodchips from the local tree service company or your local yard waste site came from sick trees. Now I have about 20 dead ash trees and a dozen dead or dying oaks to cut down - not to mention what was the last living elm on the property - all because my cheap landlady got excited about free wood chips. DO NOT use free wood chips!

Tilling and pulverizing your soil will loosen it blending everything. leaving your soil hard and packed is like going back to the backwards medieval farming methods. I plant my garden and then cover it with a couple inches of mulch and it pretty much eliminates weeds. The vegetables that need to be planted shallow, I just plant in the mulch on top. I put maple leaves in the garden in the fall and blend them good by tilling. By doing this I was able to build up infertile soil. Many of these gardening videos have expensive complicated advice that will make an inexpensive hobby expensive. You don't have to buy a tiller either.....Just rent one for one day a year.

Not tilling? What a joke a joke! If you want the best tomatoes you’ve you ever seen trying tilling / mixing / disturbing (call it what you will) the soil with fresh cow manure compost. Just the spots for new plants/vegetables. Tilling also allows the roots to go deeper especially in compacted soil. The microbes are going to give two 🤫about being disturbed especially when introducing more microbes replenishing nutrients 10 fold. aerobic and anaerobic bacteria is a story for another day

Great video and good idea to put "questionable plant material" into bags to cook the disease away to then add the leftover plant material in your compost pile. Easy and fast. We like it.

Wood mulch is NOT the answer...I am a Professional Landscape Designer (2008 APLD) and do NOT use wood mulch...just because some one started using it years ago and every one jumped on board...it is unsightly, does NOT degrade and does NOT add anything to the landscape...when was the last time any one saw "wood mulch" being natural???...use grass clippings, mulched leaves, pine needles, sand, cobbles or gravel or FINELY shredded mulch...wood mulch is NOT the answer...
