That’s a Striper, a Striped Bass, not a White Bass.

No it’s a white bass all the way striped bass tend to be a little skinny and does not have a spine like that

I looked it up and some white bass have some faint stripes but some didn’t have any. The one in the video had some pretty pronounced stripes like a striper. Stripers don’t start out as a big fish, like any other fish. I guess I could be wrong but from the way it looked to me, it was a young striper.

To be charged with trespassing in most places you need to be actually asked to leave by a resident/landowner. Just a heads up! If nobody asks you to leave they can only give you a warning 👍 nice fish from that little hole!!

“I don’t have any poppers…” not the best top water box. I get it, they’re not always the best, but there’s times when it’s the only top water that works. Sometimes you need the subtlety of a very slowly worked popper, especially in small ponds where a large spook/popper is overkill.
