You need to hook up with John Garcia and go on tour Stewart. I saw him singing Gardenia in Vegas on a YT video a few months ago. He still has the same crisp voice. I have yet to see anyone play the bass guitar as awesome as you do for this Gardenia Bass cover. Has Garcia ever reached out to you? Great playing dude! I keep coming back to this video for some reason.

Thanks! The tone is mostly from the bass tbh, the pickups aren’t so bright/hot plus I’m playing finger style so I’m sort of muting naturally as I play. Running it into a Line 6 Helix with an Ampeg SVT amp sim and an 8x10 cabinet. I think there’s some light distortion too but that’s about it!
