Nice first impression. It blows Holly out of the water. One will soon be finding a home under the hood of the 80 D350 Club cab. It really didn't need any music accompaniment. More than enough information big talked about it didn't need to be in competition With background noise.

Just curious but could you just take off the sway bar and pull the pan directly back then down? I'm thinking if that would work you wouldn't have to lower the front diff. Just curious if anybody tried it?

As far as I know, it is. I would have to do a little research to figure out if there were any other controllers for just the drivers side. When I fixed the damaged wires, both seats started working.

Would shaving the iacv chambers to far affect anything? My swap just revs to the moon when I start it and I think it’s got somthing to do with my port job
@FullThrottlePerformanceMike17 күн бұрын
Have you checked for vacuum leaks. It's been a handful of years since I ported the intake, but I'm pretty sure you need to make a throttle body gasket that blocks the iacv hole that goes into the throttle body. If that hole is open, it will let air into the intake and cause it to rev

I do catch at least one or two a week being sold as other than whay it is. It is fraud and being so actually negates their own arbitration laws and you can sue them anywhere once they do that. They demand you arbitratte in texas and file lawsuits where there shop for judges.
@FullThrottlePerformanceMike18 күн бұрын
They for sure need tio be way more transparent in what is being auctioned off and who is the seller
@wrecks2rides18 күн бұрын
I was absolutely scammed by copart. I was sold a vehicle that was listed as front end damage. I get it home and start inspecting it and find out it had been rebuilt in 2022 using wood and woodscrews. Then in 2024 it had been stolen and wrecked again. Documents left in the car for a detail by copart, which at this point is to had damage, said it was a theft recovery. But sold as front end damage. In Washington State it is a consumer law that those issues must be disclosed and a bill of sale does not absolve them of that law. I did not notice the steering column had been ripped open in the photos.
@FullThrottlePerformanceMike18 күн бұрын
Sorry to hear that. That is why I go inspect everything now. Tho they are making it harder and harder to get in the yard to look at stuff. At least in Nebraska idk how it is in other locations.

Have you ever thought about putting windows on drivers side to match passanger side
@FullThrottlePerformanceMike19 күн бұрын
That would definitely help with the blind spot on that side. But I have an old modified bus seat on that wall and the cutting and welding to add the windows would mess up the patina so I don't think it's worth it.

@FullThrottlePerformanceMike19 күн бұрын
@samolvera9358 I have ss7 in the front on a mustang 2 front suspension and ss8 in the rear on a 4 link. I am running 3/8'' lines with a airlift performance 3p unit. I love the look slammed. It doesn't handle to bad driving around town. It does have a lot of weight transfer forwards and backwards under hard acceleration and or hard braking. Only gets dicey barking hard over 60 to 70 miles an hour. I do have front and rear sway bars as well.

As of now we really like we haven't got a ton of drive time on it. And the car is currently tore down to add a turbo over the winter. I think that 90% of all the issues people have are install errors, exhaust leaks, and unreasonable expectations for what "self tuning" can do. You should expect to have to do some tuning before the self learn can take over. Unless you are on a 100% stock motor. Use my promo code and save 10%

@FullThrottlePerformanceMikeАй бұрын
To be honest, before the aces guys reached out to use that was the plan or maybe TPI. This is 100% better than TPI it's tunable and flows way better than late 80s technology. But this is a car being built on a 15 year old kids' budget, which is almost nothing, haha.

Single plane on a 305 is an interesting choice
@lpatierno84Ай бұрын
But man does it look good
@FullThrottlePerformanceMikeАй бұрын
I thought it would be a bad idea at first also due to it being a stock motor. But after talking with people who are a lot smarter than me. EFI is not affected by the single plane intake like a carb is, so it really doesn't matter what style of intake you run. So that being said, let's run the better flowing intake.
