That's just wrong. It's not pronounced conflaTE the first pronunciation you gave is more accurate (but still off). And for the meaning: TECHNICALLY "mixing of ideas" is a correct explanation, but it's lower case t true without being upper case A Accurate. Please do a better job explaining and definitely work on your pronouciation. Wanting to teach people is a commendable pursuit, but it mustn't be tainted by lazy research and factchecking.
