I was on the verge of buying their ST1623T trimmer and a self-propelled mower. Thank heavens for the internet! This video, and so many others saved me from a bad purchase.

When having a pool installed, this is why I advise to never put concrete or pavers sealing up all access to plumbing. Leave a 2.5 foot gap around the pool and use wooden decking or decorative rock with stone block for walking. Same for the filter/pump area best on portable concrete blocks laid on level grass. Also insist that all lines hug the pool under that gap. No more than three or four feet of continuous concrete covering any plumbing with plenty of room to dig. You may need to get a little creative with the patio but you will be able to fix all plumbing by yourself with ease usually for less than $100.00, probably $50.00 or less. Much better than ripping up a $30,000 patio. Also very important, use flexible schedule 40 PVC not the rigid stuff that you always see. I plumbed my own pool. Only had one major leak under the skimmer when the ground settled. Was able to dig and fix same day. PVC pulled out of the skimmer fitting. All has been air tight for 22 years. Glue everything. Don't use hose clamps, they fail. And clear all the lines of all water with a shop vac in colder climates. Freezing equals disaster. Main drains can fail and are not accessible. It is usually a code requirement to have these. They can be plugged up if they fail. Here is a link to the pipe you should use. www.amazon.com/dp/B003TTV8A0?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_dp_EV1P7WEEZ2AMRBJZB9MR

I like your idea to run new PVC line above ground to tie into the pool pump and filters. Thanks!

While I'm not defending Ego support. Did you try this kzbin.info/www/bejne/gamUeHR5mKqdaa8 ? I work in IT and I find you get GREAT customer support if you're willing to purchase a service contract for 30% of the cost of the item PER YEAR. I'm going to guess, that for the rest of the hoi poloi (my non professional self included), we are left to our own devices and ingenuity and can pretty much pound sand. Even with the service contract, Mr Google is your friend.

I guess EGO didn't expect that customers would have problems with their tools, what a mistake. After several attempts to get them on the phone then 2 days of testing and confirming a defective 7.5 amp battery for my Mower they said that they would replace it, wow that's great I thought. Going on 5 weeks so far and I have not received it, no stock they claim yet retailers are fully stocked with EGO products. In my experience with EGO Warranty Service it is TERRIBLE and if you need their help you can go for weeks if not months before you get to use the tools again. I would not recommend buying their products.

Where in the Bible does it say One sould is worth more than the whole world? I've been researching and cannot find a single scripture that says this.
