more like 50k open EXPERIENCE jobs.
@reliableDriverr6 күн бұрын
truth is most companies will not take chances on new grads due to lack of experience hence why the number of open roles is so high and companies are desperate for people with actual in-house experience , people who run the companies will not take a chance on new talent due to risk of loss for the company since a lot of people iv'e seen over the years can talk the talk but can't think for themselves under stress in the company hence people get laid off and or outside the box via to put actual effort in for themselves and or the company as a whole unless they have some sort of deep background experience via knowing someone to work part time at a company or etc. people expect things to be handed to them now adays without putting in the work or mental effort to think in the long term and ahead.

0.0 entry level data science and cyber security jobs. The only friends I see getting jobs join the military, get all the training and schools for 3-6 years then go into cyber security. Otherwise PhD in Computer Science and Math. That's it.

If you don't like showcasing the troubleshooting step, maybe you can make these more of a "code review" type videos, where you walk us through the code and what it's doing, and in the end, executing it to see it in action.

The video outlines five critical skills: Master computer networking: This includes understanding VPCs, network segmentation, and how networking works in the cloud. You don't need to be a CCIE certified expert, but a strong foundational understanding is important. Assume the attacker's mindset: When identifying misconfigurations, think about how they can be exploited by hackers. This includes things like too much access being given, long-lived credentials, misconfigured EC2 instances, or services with public IP addresses. Learn some programming languages: Ox recommends starting with Bash and Python, then moving on to Go and infrastructure as code tools. Get familiar with the tools and systems environments: This includes CI/CD pipelines, configuration management tools like Packer, Ansible, SaltStack, and Chef. Sharpen your communication and presentation skills: You will need to write documentation, explain security services to others, and level-set expectations within your team. In addition to these points, Ox suggests checking out the road map provided by RoadMap.sh for the cyber security pathway. This will help you develop a plan to blend the above skills together.

You have to know coding in, let's say go, to be able to do this?

The first step to learning how to code, is reading others. (Mine is pretty crappy) so it’s a good representation of real world lolol
