Can you make a build up video on the Super Bowl
@GregosLEGOFairground2 күн бұрын
@@Smith-h6k one day I will do a buildup video of the Super Bowl. I’ve got to rebuild it first. I don’t keep the rides built as I try and reuse as many parts as possible in the next ride I do. So there’s rarely more than two built at a time.

The Rock-O-Plane (aka STAR) is my all time favorite carnival ride. I cant wait to get the kit. Can you suggest a different motor than the kit motor for these? Adding the kit motor is an additional $80+
@GregosLEGOFairground2 ай бұрын
First thing to make clear is that I do not sell the kits, that's another company doing that, and I actully don't know what motors they supply. I design and test the rides using standard LEGO Powered up motors and the Bluetooth battery box. It's the Bluetootha battery box that does cost a lot. Why do I use these? I use them because they are the current LEGO motors, so are (in theory) easily available and they have benefit of being able to have variable speed control. This makes the ride operate better, gradually speed up and slow down. It also means that you don't have the old issue of a ride roatating at full speed of the motor when half speed looks better. You may be able to use the older power functions motors, but they are smaller in size, so might not be a quick swap as some of the chassis I've built use the motor for strength in its construction. They are also a straight on/off, full speed or nothing so might not work or result in it rotating too fast.

@@justinthorsson Unfortunately webrick can't supply all of the bricks, they can supply most of them but not all of them. It's not clear unless you expand the MOC part list and then scroll to the bottom of the list and you'll see the parts without images are the ones they don't supply. So be carefull if you buy from webrick. It's a good starting point though.
