@emilyefinke you are welcome! These modern day "singers" sound sleepy and drugged up all the time and they mumble, groan and growl too. You sing normal and they don't. That's why I'm an old school music fan myself.

Thank you for the compliment. I’m so glad you enjoyed the song! I’m actually not doing anything to cause the “warbles” (vibrato). That is just my natural voice. It can sound odd or overdone if you’re not used to hearing a natural vibrato, but there are plenty of examples through history of singers’ natural vibratos that sound exactly like mine, and it can still be heard today most frequently in classical circles.

One year ago, on an Autumn evening amidst the glow of flickering candles and a most majestic sunset, I was so overwhelmed with the peace of the moment and gratitude for the people in my life, that I did what I assume any songwriter would, and I penned the lyrics to a song. This song has become a kind of anthem for me, a burning reminder of the feeling of that moment one year ago - a reminder of what is truly important in life. What better day to share it with you than on this holiday of thanksgiving - a day to reflect and be grateful for the blessings in our lives. I hope you enjoy this excerpt from my song on this special holiday, and I hope that it inspires you in remembering that the simple days in life are the most special days when they are filled with the people that matter the most to us.
