A popular musician I like. A year after this show Pete came in to Corcoran's in Paris (a pub), right by where he had a flat or something. I have Rimbaud and a bit of Bukowski tattooed in a spiral on my arm, Pete liked that, bought a pack of Lucky Strikes, had just a 50 pound note on him, told me to keep the rest as a tip, I threw in a pint of Guinness. He's a straight up guy and a real artist (Pete I used your 50 to buy drugs in Hoxton Square that summer).

Each time I watch this, I often wonder if Peter ever thinks about, or knows, just how perfectly imperfect this is. From Smashing to Siegfried Sassoon and everything in between, it is pure bliss - both lyrically and melodically. From coughing up his lungs, to spitting at the thought of Tories, there is something magical about this man. Always has been, always will be.
