I guess your long hair when dry and in a dry atmosphere has been statically charged in the past. For the situation in your video, I suspect that if you could magically go back in time and run the video again and just use your hand instead of holding the saxophone, your hair would have moved towards your hand. The saxophone, being a good conductor of electricity was like a hand extension, I think - especially an unlacquered instrument! For more explanation of the static effect itself there are lots of hits on Google, some very scientific and some more practical. Keep up the fun videos!

try a dingeridoo breathing cycle. I learned it on the clarinet and it's easier than it looks. the first training is with a straw and a glass of water. blow into the straw so that it bubbles constantly, without a break. while you take a deep breath through your nose, your cheeks blow air for 1 second. bubbling is then continuous. and this method can also be performed on saxophone or clarinet 😉
