NEVER TAKE VADILAL DEALERSHIP/ DISTRIBUTORSHIP / FRANCHISE...THEY WILL DROP YOU IN THE MIDDLE WITHOUT ANY INFORMATION...WE HAVE SUFFERED LACS OF LOSS BECAUSE OF THEM THEY KICKED US OUT OF DEALERSHIP AGREEMENT ALL OF SUDDEN AND GAVE SOMEONE ELSE THE DEALERSHIP WITHOUT EVEN INFORMING...SUCH DISGRACE Their margin is painfully less too. 18-22% margin is a JOKE. First of all, these branded icecreams are really expensive. Very few buy them. Also, there is your running cost of freezer, so in the end you're left with only 10-12% of actual profit. Vadilal, they have wierd policies like no credits etc., which is a bad idea for those who opt for dealership. They also won't allow a dealer to sell any other brand apart from vadilal. This is bad. This is bad because other brands will give you better margin than vadilal, gives credit, gives better support, and usually don't betray their dealers. Vadilal took 2-3 lacs from us for sending stock, and then immediately snatched our dealership rights and gave to someone else. It was painfully hard to sell this stock as a non dealer. If you sell 1crore of vadilal products, you'll earn the amount that you could've earned selling 50 lacs of some other icecream brand (arun, naturals etc) MY SUGGESTION If youre from a tier 2-3 city. Dont go for vadilal. Go for a brand, that gives you the HIGHEST PROFIT MARGIN!...Brand value matters only in tier 1 cities, so if you're from tier 1, go for it, although its risky im already telling. IM IN THIS BUSINESS FROM 2015. SO I HAVE ENOUGH KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THIS. I DID VADILAL FROM 2015 TO 2019-20. IT WAS PAINFUL TO DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. THERE WAS 0 SUPPORT FROM THEM DURING PANDEMIC. I'D DO BUSINESS WITH SMALLER BRANDS WHO WANNNA GROW THEIR BUSINESS AND WILL SUPPORT US DEALERS INSTEAD OF BIG BRANDS WHO LOOK AT DEALERS JUST LIKE BANK OF MONEY, GIVE VERY LESS SUPPORT, AND JUST WANT TO GET MORE MONEY OUT OF THEM AND THEN SOMEDAY BETRAY THEM
