Story mode was amazing some gameplay choices were so weird. Like the random tripping.

i play melee on slippi but when i play with freinds brawl is funny becuse i just do wierd tech to fly as ganon and lucas and do the stuff pit mains did but unconsistenly

the Wii U and 3DS version of Smash Brothers has terrible replayability because it was split up into two different versions for two different consoles and if it was put all in one game instead of split up it would have been pretty great

Brawl also had immaculate OST, alot of the elevator music and suspenseful tracks were far better than any other smash game.

I think they where trying something new with it, they most likely had casual players in mind when designing the game. When i played Brawl for the first time, I wasn't even good, so stuff like that never even bothered me.
