Reusable capsules are ever so slightly shorter than a single-use capsules, as to avoid damaging the blade plate. All of our capsules are designed to fit perfectly, and will not harm the machine when used correctly.

Using a teaspoon, fill with around 7.5g-8.5g of ground coffee. Tamp lightly, filling the capsule to two-thirds capacity. Please note: Over-filling or under-filling may cause the cover to open during the brewing process.

This seems like an awful lot of fussing just to save a few cents. I don't really get the point of it, as long as they keep selling the Dolce Gusto pods. For a few cents more, I have no risk of spilling, no fussing and delicious choices already set to pop in.

These reusable pods, like all resuable pods, are stopping the amount of waste that is heading to landfill. Additionally, we support local roasters to provide ground beans that customers can place in their resuable pods to experience their favourite flavors every day. Sometimes, money isn't the only guide to what makes a product successful.

Mine flashes red every time I put in a pod. I just push the lever down a second time and it works. Not sure why it does this but I hate it

We use it for about three people everyday in the morning. The taste and quick brew is one of the reasons we like it so much. There are so many choices of brands of coffee that we would grab what was on sale and test the different brands from there. I would definitely recommend trying different brands of coffee to find the ones you like the most because there are brands that quite frankly taste horrible.

Hi there, thanks for the kind video :) I’ve also got a refillable capsule, Madama, after I saw your video, which is exactly the same like yours. The problem is that I can’t find the correct grinding setting. I have a very good hand grinder. When I grind too thin then the coffe tastes bad or comes out very slow. I’ve tried pressing less but still the same. When I grind courser like Mola style, it comes better but not with that cream and the taste is lighter. Do have any suggestions for grinding and how many grams you use per capsule? Thanks :)

Bluecup as tested a sigle pod to be used over 200 times with no issues. Some of our customers have never replaced their Bluecup pods.

If the hole is not lined correctly, and you puncture next to it, does that mean that the cup is ruined? Can you buy more of these silicone covers seperately in case you mess up?

I'd use a marker on the capsule holder to help line up the hole in the pod. You could do this by using a disposable pod, then line up marker with the hole made in that.
