THey restored the 747 Bravo but after that they just left it in the same spot! Can't a millionaire Greek buy it??? I don't understand.

~5 Mio Euro for the Airport, they don't do contract work. They have a KZbin channel

@peter_meyer happy new year..pardon but how much is that im $$.., not euros.thanks.and do they have amaller cheaper lay outs?
@peter_meyerАй бұрын
@@LuisRojas-v1n Happy New Year to you, too. That must be about $5.1 mio. And, as mentioned, they do not sell any of this and they don't do contract work. You'd have to do it yourself. On the other hand they are pretty open with their work. You could fly to Hamburg, germany and walk around with your video-camera and check out everything. You could even ask for a private audition with the boss and have him walk you around. They have a several 1000 ft² set up for about $51 mio with a working Formula1 track open to the public.

Ex girlfriend of mine, stewardess for a regional European airline. Flying Caravelle in 1991. Btw, Elon Musk should get few Caravelles. Restore them with new avionics and turbofans. Two-two seat configuration first-class only... "Air Mesa Verde" Come on Elon! Be romantic...

Miniature World update… I visited Miniature World in Hamburg last week. Every year I have to drive across Europe and this year a made a deliberate detour to route Via Hamburg to see this exhibit. There is a big drama about the difficulties of the tickets, you should buy online to avoid a big wait. So I did, but on arrival on the Saturday around 11:00am there was no queuing to speak of. On entering and seeing the first big display (layout) within 30 seconds I said to myself…where are the trains! Trains you say…yes this 100% a designed and built model railway exhibit comprising of many giant model railway layouts, many of which seem to be connected. It seems that the exhibit has tried to pivot away from the model railway concept to this Miniature World idea. In these modern times a “Model Railway World” probably would not attract enough people to stay in business. I made the visit as I am a model train enthusiast, but without the trains it becomes a very static display and the detailed scenery and gimmicks are quite redundant. I literally forced myself to see everything because I had made such an effort to be there. I believe all the trains are computer controlled (DCC) allowing multiple trains to run on the same track at the same time. This means it could have been amazing with trains running everywhere all the time as it was designed to do. The level of detail was quite good, but I would describe it as semi-scale (aero modeller parlance). The style of the modelling was the same through out, so for myself once I saw one of the layouts without the trains, there really was nothing else to see except for empty track. So finally from a railway modellers point of view it was very disappointing to see hardly any trains at a model railway exhibit. These are model train layouts and not a miniature world. In 2024, a physical miniature world have to be very clever and have to have EVERYTHING moving and not mainly a static display. I guess I’ve made my point
