I really love this! Such solid advice that I think a lot of us need to hear these days. We go through so much more as a human race mentally than we ever have been (I mean this in the lights/access to information at the tips of our fingers/scrolling/ and so much more) we just live so much more complex and fast paced, so it’s good to slow down and connect back with the slow movement and breathing motions we’ve been doing since the beginning of time.

Thank you for sharing this perspective! It’s so important to remember to take those moments to pause and reconnect with ourselves. ✨

Great delivery of this info - I feel you: getting in Notion and planning can be way too intense by some productivity creators though not the most realistic and flexible. In my experience, planning as *now* a mom has reeeally simplified my routine too

"I'm tired of wasting my time on a screen so I'm gonna waste time on a different screen" 😂😂😂
@TheProductivityPixie2 ай бұрын
Lol I get what you mean but while both activities involve screens, playing video games can be more interactive and engaging compared to just scrolling through social media. It’s about making screen time more meaningful ☺️

@@TheProductivityPixie Then it's less about productivity and more about mental health. I'm all for that but girlie playing video games isn't productivity.
@TheProductivityPixie2 ай бұрын
@@Psilocinoid Exactly 💯It’s not about being productive while gaming but using it to recharge. As Cal Newport says in Deep Work, 'Downtime is important for recharging and sustaining productivity.' Gaming is one of those hobbies that helps me unwind and refresh so I can be more focused and productive the next day. ✨

Had a similar experience where by Sophomore year in college I was doubting whether Music Therapy was the direction I wanted to go. However, my stubbornness to not give up and peers/mentors around me saying to just keep pushing through led to the end of Senior year knowing I did not want to enter that career field. Floundered around mixing full time low-wage jobs and going back to school for classes here and there. I was fortunate enough to have a friend who had an Admin/Gopher position open at his job, and I am now coming up on my second anniversary in the company! Not where I thought my life would go, but since it is such as small tech business, I have learned tons of new skills and am overall enjoying how I fit in with everyone there.

@@semccollum642 Thank you for sharing this ❤️ It’s amazing how life can take unexpected turns, but those experiences often teach us so much and lead us to where we need to be. Congrats on your second anniversary, and I’m glad to hear you’re enjoying your current role 🥹✨ Sometimes the path to finding our fit isn't straightforward, but it's always worth it in the end. ☺️

8:46 I Totally relate to this when I was job hunting as a software engineer, feeling like I'm wasting time and not getting anywhere so I decided to let go of that path and go to the path that I've always wanted to follow which is self employed, creating my own business and focus my 100% energy and time into growing it and after a year now I'm really happy and I don't regret the decision I took at all. Even though I'm still not seeing the results I want but I'm getting there and I know that it's gonna take time but I'm okay with that as long as I have freedom and I feel fulfilled that's all that matters to me.

Thank you for sharing this ❤️ That's what it's all about. The journey isn't easy, but what matters is trying your best and putting in all your effort. Little by little, the results you're looking for will start to show. It's great that you're following what you believe in ☺️🫶🏻

Thank you so much for sharing that! It's a brave decision to change directions, especially during such a pivotal time in your life. It's completely okay to shift paths...sometimes it's the best way to discover what truly makes you happy. Even if you end up starting over later, every experience you gain along the way is valuable and shapes who you are. Wishing you the best in your journey, and know that you're not alone in this 💖

What is that little time thing connected to your key board?
@TheProductivityPixie4 ай бұрын
It's a mini smart screen that comes with the keyboard where you can see the time, date, battery level of the keyboard and also see the weather temperature and even CPU power consumption. Plus you can add cute gif images to it 🤗

@TheProductivityPixie5 ай бұрын
Noo, dont say that 🥲 its okkk, I got you ☺️🙌🏻 So one of the weekly trackers is set to help you track one set of habits 3 times per week and the other database is for you to track another set of habits but for this database the tracking frequency is set to 5 times per week instead of 3 times per week. So they’re both weekly trackers but tracking at different frequencies during the week, one 3 times per week and the other 5 times per week. I hope that helps ✨
