Bought mine during the kickstarter pledge. Worked great last summer. The 3d mapping may be a bit gimmicky as mine kinda wanders aimlessless with no actual notable systematic pathing. Floating battery started taking on water this year and fried the battery. Contacted degrii and they responded within 5 minutes asking for a few pics and videos. Next morning sent me email stating they have shipped me a new unit. Best customer service I've encountered probably ever tbh.

Does the wifi work under water - can i command it to stop early?

Thank you for your question! Zima Lite does come with a smart app that offers various functionalities. However, since Zima Lite does not have a floating platform, it cannot receive signals while it is underwater. This means that you won't be able to command the robot to stop early through the app while it is operating in the water. You can use the app to set up and customize the cleaning before the robot is submerged, ensuring your pool gets cleaned according to your preferences with ease and efficiency.

What's the length on the cord for the battery? My pool is like 10ft deep at deepest end

how do you replace the battery in the future? what battery is it using and can you replace that yourself using 18650 battery?

Needs a solar panel on top of the floating unit to charge the cleaner during the day, then clean the pool at night.

Thank you for your comment. Now, Zima Pro needs to be plugged in to charge. However, Degrii Zima Pro is powered by a 10000mAh battery which can ensure 3.5h runtime with 5000 Sq.ft on a full charge. So, you don't have to charge it over and over again in a short perid.
