I remember seeing a news item with a photo of Alex Lifeson, the day after his arrest, with his son next to him holding up a homemade "Free Alex Lifeson" sign. Alex was still wearing his blood covered shirt from the night before.

Forbidden was shit, and "13" was REALLY a piece of shit. So" the devil you know" is the last GREAT sabbath record. And before that, " cross purposes". ( That tour was great, motorhead opened. Detroit, 94

Agree with your ranking Almost Human. OM is an absolutely horrid album, Patient just as bad, but slightly, slightly better, IMO. I miss the days when Ozzy was a band and not mimicked by his wife, thats probably how we got that ridiculous Post Malone on OM, yuck!

Don Dokken, Paul Stanley, David Lee Roth, and Vince Neil are all guilty of sticking around too long. Painful to see any of these guys and very sad to see that they can't call it a day. 3 of the 4 mismanaged their money and 1 of them is just too greedy to stop.

I just watched a video of Ace showing off his car collection that included some pretty fine looking exotic sports cars and some classic big block chevy muscle cars sitting in a pretty well to do home that he is living in. He does owe the IRS but he states he makes payments to try to pay off the rears.

Almost agree 100%. I like “Slow Down” and not that crazy about “So Tired.” And, I would probably choose “Blizzard Of Oz” over “Diary Of A Madman,” but it is very close. As for the rest of the rankings, I agree.

Poison was the reason why Hair/Glam Metal came to an end. The movie Spinal Tap was about a fake rock band that pretended to suck and played garbage music, but Poison was an actual awful Hair/Glam Metal Band that played actual terrible music. Everything they made fun about Hair/Glam Metal made Poison the poster child for this opinion. Their music videos and live performances were over the top and was embarrassing to watch. They looked like they were intentionally trying to make fun of themselves, but the sad thing was that they really thought they were cool, no way! Poison should only be credited for creating Grunge Music. After hearing their horrible music you would become so depressed that the only music which would express how you felt would be Grunge Music. Thanks for making the 1990's a depressing decade.💩

BIG time, old skewl DOKKEN fan here maan! With LOTTA THAT being? (Of course) George Lynch 🎸 , as I love the 1st LYNCH MOB, 2nd one HAS been, GROWING on me, MORE through the years.... But yeah man... IT simply IS, WHAT IT IS, ya knows.... VERY FEW "acts" are able to STAY UP TOP, throughout DECADES, and STILL play big stadiums/arenas etc. (less you're part of some HUGE band combo act with Def Leppard/Poison) like Muttley 💩, lol ... But yeah man, I am even a bit younger than you Big Ralph (at 51 y.o.) and I don't really go to shows hardly at ALLz anymores as I, (personally and MAINLY?) Just CANNOT DO "the peoples thang", anymores man....😒 But yeah, IF I HAD the choice of Lynch or DOKKEN? It'd DEFINITELY BE Lynch 🎸....And also, Wild Mick DIDN'T necessarily "quit music", as much as Mick RETIRED FROM MUSIC (cuz his BODY COULDN'T GO ANYMORES!) Plain and simple...Cuz, THAT'S WHAT happens to US old burnt out and PAIN STRICKEN DRUMMER GUYS 🥁....And yep 👍...Don has his bills etc. and like he says "being a vocalist/front man IS? ALL HE KNOWS!"..."WHAT'S he SUPPOSED to DO ya knows, at his age? Go work a "typical job" somewheres? Lol ....As ALWAYS mang, 😎 ROCK the funk ON 🤘🔥🔥

My friend and I saw Dokken here in Fresno around Aug. 1987 and they blew the place away. Aerosmith didn't have a chance after they left the stage. The best opener I've ever heard in my life from any band I've seen had to be Kiss Of Death. The audio was so damn clean and their rodies earned their money that night, the audio was bouncing off the seats and into our ears and it was just heaven man. One of the best shows I've ever seen. It sucks that Don's lost his vocals live but he deserves to play as long as he wants. He's a legend and kicked our asses with some wicked music. Play till you drop baby! I honestly think these old rock stars know if they leave the stage they wont last long, the stage keeps them going, keeps the fire and blood burning. So play as many shows as you can and for as long as you can. They've earned the right.
