I bought one of these, thought it was defective, ordered another and arranged the send the first back. When the second arrived, I could see it was exactly the same. So I kept them for home defense which is a short range duty. Fact is, these "work" but there is significant parallax in the upper half of the glass, and out on the left and right edges of the lower half. If you center the sight in the lower middle of the glass its pretty good. I'd say they are fine for short range stuff but out to 100 feet or farther I absolutely would NOT use this other than as a range play toy.

We were in the middle of a firefight, we ducked behind this and AK rounds just pierced it like nothing, a gimp came out with a combination chainsaw/flamethrower while we were taking cover... Yeah, we never stood a chance.

Into Weapons watched this video years ago and sold me on gettting a kore belt. I now have 3 and its true they are outstanding. VEry adjustable and the quality is about as good as it gets. High recommend.

There are two qualities of stripper clips, the good ones that work fine and the crappy ones that ones….I think you got a crap one cause you had to stutter start it a couple of times.

Ok, the ability to set the safety with the right hand is cool, but it looks like you don't know about how to lock the bolt to the rear on an AK: With the bolt pulled to the rear, pull the trigger. That's it. Bolt locks to the rear. That is how it is designed to be used. As long as you aren't messing around with your trigger group (filing it down or polishing the hammer), the engineering says to pull the bolt to the rear and pull the trigger. If you have modified your trigger group, you need to test this first with an empty weapon. If you are going to use your AK, you should learn more about it.

Thank you for this very helpful and detail-oriented tutorial. I watched about a dozen similar videos. Your video was by far the best! Thank you for providing so many close-up shops and the marking guide.

That thin piece of wool is NOT going to protect your sight from the sharp screwdriver blade. I CANNOT understand WTF people insist in using sharp and hard instruments when a simple piece of nylon block will work better.

You dont push straight down, its not a fucking mauser, thats why it binds up. YOU PULL THE TIP OF THE TOP CARTRIDGE UP, THEN PRESS DOWN.

Up on the knife spine, towards the tip, where narrator showed amazement at it being sharpened, shows that he hasn't been around many ak bayonets. Thats the wire cutter portion. When you click it onto the scabbard lug and use it as a wire cutter, that's the part that actually does the cutting.
