Thanks for this great tutorial Jon, really clear and easy to follow - love the Piedmont/country blues style and delighted to add this song to my repertoire but couldn't have done it without your video. The blues are alive and kicking in England.

The first time I met Richard Trice, he was working at a service station in Durham, NC changing tires. He was hard working and friendly. I could not have imagined the depth of his cultural and musical background. Only later did the story slowly emerge.

Thanks Bill for sharing this memory and connection with Richard. He did share about this job in his interview. Hope you've had opportunity to watch the film.

I've been working on Step it Up and Go but I am struggling with the picking pattern. As much as I slow it down and rewind it I just can't seem to break it down enough to get it correct. Can someone go over a measure of the pattern ?

Glad you liked it, Danny. I don't have a tab of this already done, but I do skype guitar lessons, and could tab it out in a lesson. You can email me at [email protected] if interested.

This is beautiful. Listening is the bridge and the sense that is the accumulation of all our senses. I saw my friend Margaret and was thrilled to see the work she is involved with.
