@@cgilfoy05 they used to have something similar to that unfortunately over time, online has become an afterthought. Quite frankly, a lot in the series has been an afterthought. I think they need to fix the offline stuff first before they worry about getting online to work properly.

@@drumsallday19 like I’ve said in the video, 2K is 2K. I’ve had this set for a while with no issues so it’s different for everyone. Sorry to hear you’re not having a good experience.

I was wondering the same thing. Im just getting into this game and I was surprised that there’s no way to make the Ai just follow you without attacking, just to get an understanding of the controls. The only thing I can think of is connecting a second controller, so you can control both characters. You can also edit existing superstars stats and lower their ai tendencies, which helps a lot, they still will attack and grapple but a lot less

@@thejudge7482 these are still the ones that I run with. I usually wait for a few patches to go through before I do them anyways. When this was made a couple of patches already went through.

@@bernardmuzzik7005 as far as reversals it’s more of an online thing for me but I think reversals need to be back stocked online. I played with unlimited reversals on in 2K19 but I thought the reversal nerf when hitting a major reversal was better than the current stun meter. I agree with how wrestlers should act accordingly based upon their wrestling style, sell differently, reverse differently, everything. I think it’s just a better way of getting that simulation style game. I felt 2K19 did a lot of things better than some of the more recent entries. I think the image cap, and CAW cap definitely needs to be adjusted. Having to create an extra profile just to have more CAW slots is exhausting. The unnecessary gameplay limitations and the fact that every wrestler feels the same in terms of animations makes it feel too generic when each wrestler should wrestle differently especially since you can customize everything in the moveset.

@@Botch_TV I absolutely loved 2k19 actually the Ai was amazing because I'm more into creating caws and watching the Ai. I had the ability to make a wrestler that was absolutely unstoppable. The ratings actually mattered. I liked reversal stock because it gave the ability to create a complete underdog. Now no matter how high or low the rating anyone can still win the match as to before I could give the underdog a manager or something that could even the odds or even make him cheat. squash matches also made it more realistic. Imagine if technical reversals do a wrestling takedown, pins, or submission.

@@0n0rhc not automatically, just harder to kickout. It’s just 2K not much you can do about it no matter what setting you do.

That has happened to me before as well despite having tutorial tips off in the game options. Honestly, the best thing you can do is just skip through it when it pops up, it should only do it once at least in my experience it has.

@@DarkMagicBenJI they show you how to do the mini games, do the things in universe mode, all that in case you haven’t played the game before. or if you mess up on something like the trading blows mini game or something like that, it’ll give you a tip on how to do it better.

@@Botch_TV I went on the custom match rules when making a match and it gave me a few things about it and what it does but after I pressed ok and left it I clicked on custom match rules again and it keeps giving me tips? What do I do about that

I tried to break everything down as much as possible so that people understand exactly what they are changing, and exactly why I have my settings the way that I have my settings. It’s not so much to make the game more difficult or easier, it’s to tell a story.

@Botch_TV I play the exact same way, and I haven't been able to find sliders that fit the way I play. Keep up the good work. Any real wrestling fan will get the importance of the story needing to be told. Just like playing with the action figures as a kid.

@@travissnell3191 that indeed can be difficult, I mess around and see what works. I tend to wait for a few patches to go through before changing anything too drastically to do videos like this one. I’ve been doing my universe for almost 6 years and a lot has changed but one thing remains the same, the elements of storytelling, and character depth.

@Botch_TV Interesting. I have had a real hard time getting into this year's game. I pre-ordered 40 Years edition, and I'm on week 3, year 1 of my universe mode. I've watched numerous videos and made my own settings to experiment, and I have yet to find a nice feel. I say that because you made this video 4 months ago, so do you find these settings you made 4 months ago still hold up now, after several patches have been made?

@@travissnell3191 yeah, these settings to me still hold up. That’s why I wait usually for at least a couple of patches to go through before I do anything. At least in my opinion for what I want for my gameplay experience, it’s definitely held up for me but it’s different for everybody.

@@williamstylez7868 Not at the moment, I’m focused on my own CAWs along with my mods CAWs right now.

that sounds like a game problem and not a setting problem. I'm not sure what could that be. I've never had those issues. Not sure how to solve it.

My silders are based on the fact that it allows me more freedom to create the outcome that I want in matches, so yes in theory. The only reason I say that is because 2K is 2K and no matter what you do, things are going to happen. With that being said, I’ve found these settings combined with minor adjustments to paybacks have created the best experience possible for me imo. Some things may work, some things may not. It all depends on how the player plays the game with the settings as well.

You mean the holding the button for mini games? That’s been there. it’s just an option for people with disabilities I would assume. People who can’t physically do the mini game. it’s just an option for the player. It doesn’t change for online though. If that’s what you’re referring to.

I haven’t messed with any of those so I wouldn’t know where to start with that.

That’s just how the game is unfortunately. Sometimes that happens. Not much you can do about it. You can turn the finisher and special meter to slow and that’ll make it longer to build up a finisher and signature so someone is more likely to go down after a finisher or two versus just a move. That’s something that you could try but doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll always work.

Once you set it once, it stays there I believe until you change it back.
