I love how Hiccup is unable to save Toothless bc he’s not strong enough but Stoic saves hiccup and then uses his great strength to save toothless. And then Hiccup and toothless defeat the big dragon and they save everyone. It shows that both Stoic and Hiccup have different skills and qualities that are necessary and valuable. Bc the conflict between them was that Hiccup isn’t as strong or as “manly” as Stoic thinks a Viking should be. But this scene shows that they are both true Vikings and that they respect each other.
