The what grease they put in there after two seasons, turns the paraffins solid therefore you have no more lubrication. I’ve made it a practice to take these apart every two years and replace the grease and these things will run indefinitely. They’re counting on the grease drying up so that.$$$$$$$$$$$😳 No, I just watched a video where a gentleman took it apart like you did drilled and tap the side of the case and put a grease fitting in it so once a year you give it a pump OR a half a pump?

I thought about doing something similar with multiple chainsaw blades.. I thought about welding some sprockets on the tiller shaft and then welding two chainsaw bladed together. On the actual chain I was going to weld on some fatter teeth to grab more dirt. Seems like it would work.

Pulled my truck battery and it was frozen. Wouldn’t register on my smart charger so I hooked it up to my suv and boosted it for 10 min. Charger registered it but constantly says “Low” capacity with normal tension and normal amps. Reads 12.3v off the charger. So I think I’m gonna I/O cycle charge it like you did and hopefully it’ll be ok.

No, they’re not “measured in inches.” They’re measured in sixteenths of an ‘inch.’ They remain a mistake our US Congress failed to correct when I was a child..

Put a ball bearing the diameter of the crank snout down the hole first then screw the bolt in. No damage and less friction on the bolt.
