When I use the connected InstantView to emulate a second screen, streaming services such as Netflix Prime Video HBO Max and others, stop working, get a black image and only the audio is played, when I disconnect the InstantView from SiliconMotion the image appears, but I need to use both monitors even when I'm watching something, I would like to know if there is any solution to this problem, thank you.

whenever I open instant view software, I am getting the following error "USB Display Device is not connected. Please connect it and try again". But it's connected and one display iS working.

It doesn't work for 2 displays with Windows: basically one of my displays mirrors the laptop display.

Your new software update made it stop working. I had bought a device from Hyper and it was working perfectly until I decided to update it to version 3.12 and now just one screen will display instead of two. Revert the update. M1 user here

does not support VGA, does not support VESA modes, requires a custom mode line in /etc/smifb.modes and... you cant find any freeking info on how to configure this file.

instant view used with elecife dock doesn't allow video playback on major streaming websites such as hbo max, netflix, hulu, and others. curently using Mac OSX Monterey. very bad programming

@@tobiadeniji6944 i found a work around that enables streaming sites to play. if you're using google chrome, go to settings, click the system tab, and disable the "use hardware acceleration when available." i'm using an M1 Mac and I'm able to use three monitors at the moment and streaming is fine now.

@@tsilvar007 turn off hardware acceleration on google chrome. it's a limitation because of the OSX. it's not the device's fault. with hardware acceleration turned off, I can watch hulu and netflix through the web browswer without any issues if displaylink is active. however, can't open apple tv through the app on my computer cause it won't show. so for apple tv, i open it through google chrome and it works fine.
