😭 I had to start reading outside or in my car when I’m at work. I’m always like PLEASE LET ME READ ON MY LUNCH AND NOT TALK ABOUT WORK. Thank you so much! 💜 it’s the Lyon filter on CapCut. The lighting in my house is so drastic I use it to help even everything out Lolol. I bought more yarn but for Christmas gifts this time!!!! 💀 here is hoping I don’t procrastinate again this year.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN, You most definitely can get through the books. We just gotta ignore the ones that didn't make it ✨😂 The new upgrade on the camera thoughhhh. IT'S LOOKING SO GOOD 😍 I'm most definitely not a season reader though. Except maybe... winter? Because us Californians have no real winters 😂 I was planning to read Good Guide's to Murder and Reapparance of Rachel Price. Maybe we can duo read them too eventually 👀 LOL. No not your parents making you eat fish eyeballs 😭 Parents also made me eat them and now I don't even like fish. I can't wait to see what you think about She is Haunting. If you like it, I might pick it up as well to support a Viet author! Though I'm pretty bad at horror 🥲LOL. I love how many literary fiction you include because I've just started reading more lit fiction, and there's so much to THINK. I like it but, sometimes it's depression (bc world life is depression lol) but also so good because of how much food for thought! Another literary pic that I'm eyeing for fall is The Mountains Sing by Nguyễn Phan Quế Mai. It's giving Pachinko vibes but now in the perspective of the Viet Nam war. Let me know if you're interested in that one as well! idk I think I just couldn't understand Shakespear in general. It's too confusing. WHY THE EYEBALLS????? 💀 I can’t stand seeing the fish’s head because of it. I’m excited for it!! When I first saw it I was so happy to see a Viet author and Asian characters who aren’t side characters!! Ohhh I’ll check it out! I love lit fiction but have to space it out because I usually get so depressed after LOL. For me, they fall into making me depressed or the book is all vibes no plot 🤣 Romeo and Juliet infuriated me to no end. Why can’t they communicate??? I don’t care if they are star crossed lovers!! Ya’ll can’t leave a note or some kind of code about the poison???? I told myself to wait till October for Lady Macbeth but I might start it soon because it’s all I can think about while reading Assassin’s Apprentice. Murderbot Diaries is so good! It got me out of a slump last year after I read A Little Life. No pressure on your TBR!!!!

OKAY FINALLY GETTING THROUGH MY VIDEO BACK LOG i just finished reading A Novel Love Story and i gave it one star oh my god im glad you enjoyed the other aspects but the romance (or rather lack of one because it made no sense and they had no chemistry) RUINED the book it was my biggest disappointment of the year 😭😭😭 she was an autobuy author for me but NO LONGER im so excited to read tom lake now!! i like that style of narration so i am sat and i cant wait to read it!

I always appreciate your support! If you can't get to the videos it's okay!!!! I read so much manga/manhwa, I can suspend my belief for bad romances. But something about A Novel Love Story's romance was off (aka no chemistry) LOL. How am I supposed to root for them in the end if I spent so much more time invested in everyone else???? What's in Frank's hot sauce? Is taffy that sticks to your teeth actually good?? I was planning to read the Seven Year Slip after but... I think I'm going to hold off a little more. I'm excited to hear your thoughts on it! The audiobook was so relaxing~ I might have fallen asleep a few times lol

GIDEON THE NINTH RARRRRRRRR 🦅🦅🦅omg yes im so excited for yout to read it!! I do have one recommendation for you, and that is to either: listen to the audiobook at the same time, or just DON'T GIVE UP because this book will make NO sense at all for a lot of the book and that is on purpose! You just have to steer into the skid, lean into the chaos and not knowinog what the hell is going on because it's worth it!! Honestly all three books are like that, you'll be completely lost for 75% of the book and then something happens and EVERYTHING clicks into place it's so good!! SPACE LESBIANS AND SKELETONS it is PEAK!!! sorry haha positive rant over FRANKENSTEIN!!! Mary Shelley is the GOAT and that edition is beautiful!! omg you have such a good tbr im going to poach many of these haha im so glad you're planning on reading some of these because once you do i think it will spur me to FINALLY read them too and im in a sci-fi and fantasy slump atm, please save me with your influence 🙏🧎♀

Ohhhh that's good to know! It's like Middle Game where most of the book is like ???? and then the last part everything is pieced together. Everyone I know talks about how fun it is, and I WANT TO HAVE FUN WITH THE SPACE LEBASIAN NECROMANCERS TOO. LOL YESSSS. I absolutely love Mary Shelley~ Thank you! Queen of nothing really encapsulates everything I love about Jude and Cardan 🥹. Definitely not a girls girlie!! Especially not for her sister. For who??? LOCKE? UGH. It’s on sight with her ⚔️ LOL right? It the hottest time of year for us but I’m already making sweaters and buying Halloween decor. When it was in the 90s I wanted to make soup at the risk of boiling myself alive I learned the hard way too T_T. I love the translucent post it’s! Every few chapters I do a post it note of my over all thoughts at that point. Sometimes it gets repetitive if the book is all vibes but if it’s good I’m shoving papers in lol. Thank you!!

GIRL LOL. I'm a completionist so I just try to read and finish everything... even if I hate it. 😂 I agree so much with you though... I feel like Funny Story/Just for the Summer/Part of Your World are all really similar. They're great but sometimes I want something a little different in pacing. They're definitely in the same grouping of books. THE SHREK-LIKE BOOK 💀😂 But also I want to watch you read your old childhood books!! I wanted to do something like that too but on top of my head I read was the Poppy series, Charlette's Web, and Twilight Saga. I'm sure I read other ones as well but... can't say I remember it all 😂The manga reads at the time was UNHINGED asf though. Honestly, it seems like you should think of it as unfinished. Especially if you've only gotten 50 pages in. You're just dabbling to see if you're in the mood for it ✨I think that's how I would look at it; especially with Twisted Love.

I mean it’s hot pot season for meeee. YES. I thought it was Shrek at first and needed to get it! 💀 my manga reads at the time were definitely UNHINGED and SUSPECT. 🤣 I definitely didn’t have anyone supervising my reading lol. Then I realize how slow the audiobook actually is compared to my reading 😂 OKAY, I can't wait to watch it then. I might watch it while I play my Stardew Valley 👀I don't even really hang out with friends unless it's gaming related 🤣 I'll keep you updated LOL. I've been so lazy to read recently... a little reading slump or maybe TBRs aren't for me. Maybe I should just pick up books I'm interested it. Sameeee. I was playing co op with friends and listening to an audiobook. Mid boss battle the spicy scene started and I couldn’t stop screaming lol. TBRs are rough when I’m in a slump. It gives me that feeling of needing to read for exams again 💀. I hope the slump goes away soon! I wish there was an easy fix for them but when I tried a list of getting over them.. it made it worse LOL. Yes! Steal the ac!! I used to go to the bookstore but I’m paranoid they think I’m stealing the book I brought from home. 😭 I’m definitely still awkward and embarrassed about it. When I film outside, I use my phone so it looks like I’m watching something. I know most people don’t care, but I’m embarrassed LOL

I started reading Wuwa fan fics too but they are mostly hit or miss. Mimi recommended In My Present, I Want You To Hold Me. It’s a Raeliannna fic and it’s soooooooo good. 💀 hoyoverse games always give you a book’s worth of dialogue. It’s so much reading it should count!! In genshin you can collect books and read them. I’m tempted to add them lol ME TOO! I haven’t read it yet but got so influenced I bought it 😭. I like watching her shorts/tik toks and wanted to support. When I do, I’ll let you know how it goes. I’ve been letting my tbr grow and grow so I’m trying to get through all of those first 🥲 I’ll try it with honey next time! The latest event that I want to play in FGO is also out... so that's another set of reading I have 😂 Who knows... maybe I'll get to it first. The spicy book of hers is all spice w/ no plot. I thought the dark, steamy romance retelling of beauty & the best would be good. Honey adds a sweetness to the curry that's supposedly makes it more like the ones we have in Japan? I don't think it 100% nails it but still tastes pretty good in my opinion. 🥰 Hopefully you'll enjoy it. This vlog was still super fun to watch!! Glad you posted it. Definitely cozy vlog vibes. OMG, fever + the heat wave we have??? Was unbearable on my end 😩We froze some wet towels so I could cool myself down. That helped a lot. I am started to run my AC and it's not for the weak heart. I think our area has like a surge for electricity so it was a bit expensive 😭Might go back to opening windows, praying for a breeze and or fan.

Ohhhh I think the subreddits usually post the scripts so I was thinking of pasting them into word and counting them as pages. I’m forcing myself to play only one gacha game at a time 💀 my wallet would not be able to handle it. Let me know how it goes if you do! Ohhhhhh it’s been so long since I’ve been to Japan. I’ve heard adding apple sauce helps get that sweetness, but I never have it on hand to try. 😭😭 the summer rates are crazyyy. I caved and turned on the ac a few times too. The bill was wild. I ended up sitting in front of a fan and spraying myself with ice water as a compromise.
