we had a car like this a red one when I was a kid in the '70s in Hungary, it gave our family many thousands of happy kilometers across Central Europe, not your real getaway car, but it was allright for a while, then we changed it for a Lada 2001 .

Not sure if you still have the car, but I beleive that to fold the mirrors in younhad to turn the dial around to point towards the symbol. The same goes for heated mirrors, so the setting you have it in at 15:43 is with the mirror heaters on. (I realise you probably already found that out as this video is 3 years old, but thought I might point it out for anybody else who may have been wondering!)

Remove airbox and n/s rear wheel spanner on nut from underneath, undo top bolt from engine bay and bottom bolt through wheel arch. Bolts are torqued to 80Nm.

What a lot of people do not understand is that even if you have a small 1.0 or 1.2L engine,you will use a lot of fuel doing long trips cos you need to drive harder and change down before you get hills and do overtaking.so you might use just as much as a larger engine.and the benefit of a larger engine is that you font have to change down for hills and you dont have to drive your car harder like a smallek engine.the only benefit to me with a small engine is driving in town,thats it.

How many times do you do it ? Like do you step on the pedal and then turn the key once or multiple times ? Also how do you do the compression test ? What size did you have to use? Also did you have to remove the fuse for the fuel pump ? Thank you very much.

This video answers the question I've had in the back of my mind for ages, cheers from NZ I've seen as low as 45mpg in my stock MK4 Golf 1.8T, but on average I'm getting around 35-40 highway and 25-30 city. I might not have to up my fuel budget too much if I replace my GTI with a VR5! Although in saying that, It would not help that the VR5 roar is so addicting 😂

I have a tuned V5 170 which has the 190bhp remap etc. If i don't boot it about I easily get 33mpg pretty much everywhere but as soon as i start booting it she drops to about 21mpg and its extremely hard not to...What a sound

I love that this engine exists when it had NO reason to. VW already had the 20-valve 1.8T for applications with around this power level. But they did it anyway. I like that.

@Swiss4.2 4 ай бұрын
Yeah it was a bit of a pointless engine when it came out; similar performance to the 1.8T whilst consuming as much fuel as the VR6. Still a great engine though. Alot of tuning potential just like the VR6. I believe someone in Romania swapped the 20V VR5 from a Passat B5 into B5 S4 and turboed it and is now making well over 800hp. I would buy one if parts were easier to find

The moment you compared that Jaguar to a Triumph 2000, sorry, no point watching any further. No Jaguar ever built looked even vaguely like a Triumph 2000. Similarities, four round headlights across the front. So, lump into that category every vehicle every made that has four headlights across the front.

Given their "cut & shut" looks (& both halves not even the same car) they are a car to look out from & not look at... but I love them! (currently running my third.. & have put over 200k miles combined on them.. all diesel). Great mile munchers & the diesels sip fuel. 2 things to watch out for.. the diesels are not LEZ compliant (I regret not going for a petrol this time) & they can eat drivers door wiring harnesses after about 5 years (looks like a design fault in the door jam area, but not a showstopper to fix). Totally recommended.

Thank you for this honest review. Just found the one I was going to look at is 85bhp so I'll wait to find the 105 version . I do a small 10 mile motorway section on my way to work so probably safer ti have the extra oomph!. Everything else about tge roomster looks perfect for me.. My xc90 is just too expensive to run and I pretty much have the seats flat constantly. But occasionally have passengers so this type of vehicle is right for me. Had a couple of kia Carens in the past that work well, but fancy something a bit smaller. Thanks again. 👍✌️🧡

I’d suggest you loose the Bentley badges, just makes you look like a fool, and the steering wheel is normally called tortoiseshell not wood, I’ve had a 2009 300c crd for over 3 years been up & down the country over to Europe, and it’s never coughed been regularly serviced engine gear box rear diff, the one thing I found is there a bit heavy on the front suspension component’s but I am running 22” wheels, other than that great car,👍
