@@EggBram Ive been struggling with my old version of Xara (2005) to create a rotating dial for training emerging sheep farmers here in the Karoo in South Africa. I simply couldn't find any free calendar templates anywhere and using pie charts in word was unwieldy. I loved using Xara for years but never worked with circles and am very rusty. So thanks to you this will get done and hopefully printed today and constructed into a plastic rotating tool that will enable folks to learn when and how their sheep get fed, vaccinated and mated etc. So again thank you for putting this out there. It's an immense help to me right now

Nor can I at the moment Cliff. I can load a Xara svg into vivus-instant and it previews fine but I can't get it to download and play in a browser. Hoping Acorn or Siran can point me in the right direction.

1-Create a perfect circle 2-Create a text you want to add to curve 3-Make the circle 100% transparent 4-Select the text and the invisible circle (aka select all) 5-Put text on curve (from the menu select: Arrange - Fit Text To Curve) 6- Rotate the text to the angle you want it The font stays editable and you can still change the fonts to the ones you have in your computer. 7-To put the text inside the circle select the Shape Editor tool and click on "Reverse Paths" 8-If you think the letters are too close you can change the distance between them by changing the "Tracking" (select it from the text tool) (This was made in an old version of Xara. You have to find where commands like "Fit Text To Curve" is located in the new versions).
